Those star hungry idiots are punking GMs left and right, in case you haven't noticed.

Neither Lin or Asik were going to be signed up as trade bait.

"@ARankin11: If NY and CHI let Lin and Asik walk does that hurt Houston's chances at getting Dwight?" Tremendously. At least before Jan. 15.

So will Lin have time to join the Rockets Summer League team, USA Select or chill until training camp starts?

Dummies need to do their homework. Scola's corpse is keeping us in the game.

Tell that to Bima, Tony Meija. :p

Sounds like someone is pissed or doesn't want Howard going to join a certain point guard we're about to get from New York!

Do I sense a little jealousy, Meija? My "sources" say YES! LOL...

Like someone said before, this move gives us more leverage as Orlando sees us as the last option, not desperate for Dwight.

Agreed. We should still be able to absorb one bad contract. Based on what feigan wrote the Rockets were not planning to take on more anyways.

We can absorb 2, maybe even 3 (depending on which bad contracts we're talking about, and how many non-guaranteed guys we're willing to waive). Stupid beat writers are flat out WRONG. They need to do research on salary cap.

It's now looking like we only amnestied Scola BECAUSE we knew there was a good chance to get Lin.

The famous Larry 'Cap Expert' Coon seems to agree with Mr. Mejia. Just sayin'!

    Larry Coon ‏@LarryCoon
My guess is deal would fall apart if Hou ends up with both. ORL wants to unload bad contracts as well. RT @AjayTaunk: How many of the Magic's contracts can HOU take (in a Dwight deal) if they pick up both Lin and Asik?

    Larry Coon ‏@LarryCoon
Haven't heard directly that it's real. But if HOU ends up with both Lin and Asik, Orlando may need to move on to Plan C. Would that be the Lakers? Quite possibly. RT @jkane34: what do you think of this supposed lakers/cavs/magic trade?

    Larry Coon ‏@LarryCoon
They'd likely have Asik... RT @BBooth248: If Howard to Lakers deal goes through, where does that leave HOU in regards to BIG's?

Larry Coon has an account on LakersGround. Of course the man is going to say that.
