lol, people say stuff all the time. we said we were bringing dally back, now he's gone. we said we would bring lee back, he's gone. we said we would bring goran back, he's gone. I could definitely see the knicks settling for felton once they see the backloaded contract. It's definitely not a 100% chance the knicks will match. hopefully they don't, we just have to see.

No matter what people think of Pau Gasol, that approach woulda worked had the Rockets got him. Make us a little stronger, the Lakers a little weaker.

Instead of having the Lakers add freaking Steve Nash pieces to what they already have.

    Kobe + CP3 + Bynum
    or
    Kobe + Nash + Gasol + Bynum

ehh.. better than nothing. so far this is and the possible Asik signing are the only things going for us. I guess our direction is tanking this year, thought that should have happened last year but oh wellllll

Dragic signing yesterday probably made Lin think he could get more money being the next best available PG free agent. He left Houston thinking he would get more offers.

I guess he realized nothing has changed and if anything one less team wants his services.

New York has $64M committed to four players in 3rd year of Lin deal when he'll be on books for $9.3M -- which doesn't include Jason Kidd.

We're hating Aldridge now? He said we wouldn't trade up in the draft or get Dwight and DWill and was 100% correct. He's accurate for a reason: he doesn't sell BS pipedreams as fact.

For the Knicks. He needed to severely overpay to have a chance and this isn't close.

Makes no sense. Of course NY matches with a team option on the fourth year.

They may will be in a good spot for a year or two. But 3 of those guys are aging the wrong direction and it gets bleak for them in the 3-5 yr outlook.

NY will match. They brought the Master Teacher (Jason Kidd) in as a mentor to Lin.

Not a bad deal for Rockets with team option in back end. Too bad NY has money to burn

If Lin leaves NY the number of times his name will be mentioned on ESPN compared to being in NY 0

    He has said that.

Knicks bringing in Kidd and Raymond Felton would seem like it impacts them bringing back Lin. But it probably doesnt. I'd think Kidd would be more tempted to "mentor" Linsanity rather than Roddy Beaubois, and probably feels there's a good chance the Knicks easily bring Lin back.
