Lets not celebrate JUST YET J.R.... I mean, yes its looking like that but anything can happen between now and tomorrow, by the way all talks, involving the Rockets have happened.

BUT... At the same time, I am hoping for the best. :)

I'm sure Morey has outlined an offer to Orl IF we get both, which probably includes taking less contracts, but giving more assets. I'm sure it hinders our ability to sign an extra max contract next summer, but who know if Dwight comes around to Houston, maybe he convinces his buddy J. Smith to come on over.

    No way...

Haven't even entertained this possibility. Always assumed NY would match. Still not getting my hopes up, but...

    Current Dragic > current Lin
    Lin potential > Dragic potential
Lin star power + Rockets Chinese connection = BACK TO RELEVANCE

The icing on the cake, 3 years of Lin at $8M given all of the above >>>>> 4 years of Dragic because we maintain flexibility as well as gamble on a young rising star player with superstar off the court potential.

I see it as a pretty big move if it happens.

Going from Courtney Fortson or anyone else we currently have to Jeremy Lin is a major move in my opinion.

He won't be coming without a max contract offer!! (Atleast I seriously doubt it)

If this in any way hinders our ability to offer 2 max contracts next summer this deal is an EPIC FAIL. If not.....I still think it's a reach at that money but no big deal.

If Lin came cheaper a lot cheaper I would like it. But it is Lin and the current roster then tanking will be easier.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Morey trolling the Knicks these past few years

I hear he took third his senior year, and that he has a credo.

Something tells me we might reconstruct Asik contract to make it even tougher for Bulls to match, so we can keep him.

After seeing the rookies play last night, I'm down with this. Might not be contender status anytime soon, but the team should be fun to watch. Although I don't think we have a tankable roster, looks like a 20-30 win team.
