They are really f***ing with Lin at this point as well.

I'm not sure they keep him - otherwise the first Grunwald/Lin meet will be a disaster. I mean, is there a team.out there that needs less to have its chemistry more messed up than it already is?

WTF Where's David Stern ... I guarantee if the shoe was on the other foot he'd intervene on behalf of the nicks .

Yep... I could just see it now... Lin sits and/or under preforms for the Knicks and its fans... Knicks lose money because of Lin struggling... Knicks lose even more money because of salary cap in 3rd year...

Might as well let him go to Houston Grunwald before all that happens to your team before your very eyes!

Well, logic tells us if they were so confident they were gonna sign, they wouldn't be making this difficult.

So, take that as you will.

Tomorrow, my church has 5-6 services... I'm going to try to make 4 or 5 of them... and PRAY really hard that Grunwald shows up (him or the league office of the NBA) and bypasses the 3 day window of an offer sheet because of Grunwald's shinanigan's and have him on the spot right then and there, whether they want Lin or not with Daryl Morey and Company!

Then, I'll pray that Chicago sees what's been happening and does not do this to Morey as well, and we can either move on from Asik or have him on the roster.

Finally, I'll also pray that we land Dwight Howard and things can go back to normal.

No in Houston he will be an average player on a bad contract.

Or logic could tell you that they're pissed at the Rockets so they'll drag this out as long as possible before eventually matching, thus messing w/the Rockets plans.

8mil/yr salary cap wise, is fine for a player like Lin. In terms of cash, he'll easily pay for himself. People like to point out that he only started 26 games. However its also a positive, in terms of his potential.

They have absolutely no reason to be pissed .. this is all their own doing. They should have offered Lin a contract from the start. Not like the guy didn't make a boat load of $$$$ for the organisation. If I was a fan of the Knicks I'd be embarrassed as hell over the way they are treating Lin.

And that's the rub, they arent messing up the Rockets plans at all. The cap space for Lin's offer sheet is already set aside, they don't really have any FAs that are awaiting the results of the match question and the offer for Howard has already been made, its on ORL at this point to move it along.
