The rest of the league should be thanking Morey for signing Lin to that offer sheet. This is how you cut the big market teams down to size.

The saga continues. The Rockets did not deliver the Lin offer sheet, after all. Imagining a PI in a trench coat staking out Tao.

Uh oh. So I guess the report about us waiting for the Dwight saga to end may be true. Cavs-Lakers-Orl talk must have Morey a little worried.

Doubt it. We've already tried to deliver it. So we aren't holding back.

ARGHHHH... I wish I was Eric Cartman right now in the episode of "Go God Go" where he froze himself, while waiting for the Nintendo Wii (in this case what will become of the Rockets' roster) to come out... I could also envision Daryl Morey being Eric's mom, dragging him (us) off while telling him (us) to "be patient". And him kicking and screaming as she drags him off from the store. :(

Don't understand how you got that from his tweet. Tao is a restaurant in Vegas. They trying their hardest to hand deliver the offer sheet to their GM who is obviously trying to avoid receiving it.

This is Grunwald's way of getting even with Morey because of the offer sheet detail changes Morey made.

The 3 day deadline to match hasn't started yet since the Knicks haven't technically received it yet. NY gm Grunwald knows Morey has a pending trade with Orlando so they're resorting to delaying tactics as retaliation.

It's annoying an very unprofessional. I guess they were hurt by the last minute contract changes. LOL

They are not delivering it until they have D12. I wouldnt be surprised if the reported offer doesnt change again once they feel out NY. No official offer unless actually delivered right? But no if D12 you dont want to take on Lin IMO.

What benefit is there to waiting until Dwightmare is over before making the Knicks match? Will Morey go back on his agreement with Lin and not offer his contract if we need to take back more salaries?

except you'd accidentally get woken up 500 years in the future and their will only be 2 NBA teams "the MEGA-EAST-COAST- BOSIAMI-GOTHAM-DISNEY-Knicks and "the MEGA-WEST-COAST-LOS-SANDALFRISCOHOMA-ESPN Lakers featuring 5 on 5 to the death robots in a game where you dunk your opponents head in a basket to score points.

You'll look on the super charged internet and realize the then "houston rockets" won 200 NBA championships before the mega city merger and ESPN decided enough was enough because the Knicks were experiencing a 100 year drought. Meanwhile, the midwest becomes a wasteland as ESPN hearded the population of the US to move to LA or New York so they could control all ratings and the force the Lakers and Knicks to switch off winning the Robot O'brien Trophy.
