    It think it's a toss up b/c Dolan is an idiot and emotional. But Miami shut down Lin, so Dolan has a built in excuse not to keep him.

    The lovely thing is that NY is screwed whichever way it goes.

    Absolutely right. If I was a betting man (which I considered being today), I would go buy some shares in MSG on Nasdaq today. It's dropped significantly on the rumor of them not matching.... Hmmm... Maybe the rumor was so they could make some more money when the stock rebounds when they match. The delay (the Knicks hiding from the Rockets) is simply to give more days for the stock to drop before matching and making more money when it rebounds.

    I suspect Rockets and Magic have 3 trades basically worked out.
    1) If Asik and Lin matched.
    2) If only one is matched.
    3) If both aren't matched.

    I suspect it is a sliding scale of more picks, less bad contracts to less picks, more bad contracts. This makes me believe Magic really want to get rid of some contracts over non-lottery draft picks.
