A good, different take. I still hate Melo, though. And with his record, it's much easier to conclude that he's simply a player hater who's threatened by Lin.

Besides with JR coming out with the same comment, it supports the first theory much better.

Bima, is it possible to afford another max to go with Dwight next year even if we take on Lin & some Orlando trash?

lol... I thought I might get a response like this one from you (notice I "adjusted" the word confident to "felt" in my next post....) :)

I can certainly see why you'd feel that way. I'm just not sure I agree though. Even though Woodson likes to or can mix and match, with the Spaniard, Kidd and Felton (as well as the timing of his signing), I think they may not.

    We'll know soon!

I am on record stating the same. Hope I am wrong, because Lin is 10X better than whatever we have now at PG.

So were 23 hours from some type of resolution?

I'm kinda tired of this ****. Can't wait for preseason games in October, the season to kick off in November.

Bad feeling about this...I think too many New Yorkers are making a stink about this. Also, given the price drop of MSG over the last few days, millions have been lost...the Knicks need Lin. The tax hit will sting, but Lin makes up for it. From a money standpoint, they need him.

From a basketball standpoint, its a terrible, terrible decision due to the ramifications of being over the luxury tax line.

Unfortunately, I think the Knicks chase the money instead of the ring.

I hate to say this regarding J-Lin, but I strongly believe the NY Knicks are taking a page out of The Coca-Cola Company's marketing book...

    I hope I'm wrong.

Maybe, but I don't remember how it usually goes down. Maybe they inform Lin early on tomorrow what their plan is. That's what they did with Fields.

Yeah, I didn't realize Shumpert was out 'til likely January.

That can't help (when they can play Felton or Lin at the two some).
