And when we get Chris Paul next year, we can have Chris P. Creme (for Chandler, due to his effect on the ladies) Donuts.

Wilbon was saying how it would be stupid of the Knicks, (like usual) to be paying for 3 PG's, and Broussard was defending why the Knicks should match. Wilbon said Lin to Houston should get Dwight to stay, Broussard said no, and that Dragic and Lowry were better than Lin, and Houston shouldn't get excited.

He basically loves the idea of pairing up Jeremy Lin and Dwight Howard together, and referred to bring in Mike D'Antoni to houston as an assistant coach.

Ok, I resigned to the fact that Lin will be lost to the Rockets. Saving dollars for league pass this season.

Hope rockets get Howard otherwise, as an outsider looking in at the current roster, its not a pretty picture.

It seems like all of the NY area/east coast sports writers have been mandated to start bashing Lin. Signs that they won't match him?

The damage control for the damage control will be equally as hilarious if they do indeed match.

Meh, they bash Tebow a great bit too. Doesn't stop them from forcing him down our throats anyways.

What if NYC signs Lin just to screw with our chances of landing Dwight and getting him to resign?

That would be a big F YOU by the knicks

Meh i doubt it. More cap room to bring in Dwight's buddies next summer. And 30 million other reasons.

    NYK can do no wrong.

If they match, Lin's a media darling and they did the right thing.

If they don't match, Lin's a wash and a villain.

OR they can do no right.

If they match, people will criticize them for poorly running a franchise based solely on percieved popularity and marketing (rather than wins.... which they won't have with that much $$$ tied into just 4 players).

If they don't match, there's enough of a short-sighted fan base there that will turn on them... and they risk becoming irrelevant again (in terms of the New York sports world... before last year, they were dead last in terms of "interest" amongst the three major sports).
