    I agree.

Radio hosts and most call ins are completely oblivious to what is going on.

    Yes and no.

When Melo came back from injury and the questions were "will Melo and Lin co-exist?", STEPHEN A. SMITH expressed his semi-disdain for Lin: he can't do this, he can't do that, he can't part the Red Sea, he can't cure leprosy.

But yeah, his Knicks fervor is 2nd only to Spike Lee's.

Every time I listen I always tell myself, "these guys get paid to do this!?" We all do this for free and we don't get paid a dime!

Would anybody be surprised if Knicks matches? Couldn't the Knicks just trade Lin away after 1 or 2 years before the 3rd poison pill year if he doesn't work out? What's to say you can't trade Lin away if Atlanta managed to trade Joe Johnson's carcass and his crap contract away.

Everybody is guessing so please stop the ESPN reports and twitter messages, the guy in charge can even change his mind at the last minute Tuesday at 11.55 pm and do exactly the opposite of what most people 'claim'. Nobody knows a damn thing.

Totally agree, what's important is to have a contingency plan. What are we planning to do if they do match? Go after Aaron Brooks? UGH

I get the feeling the feeling the Knicks are playing us to "get back" at Morey for changing the offer. I bet they have a last second "change of heart" and end up matching.

My feeling right now is about 75% they match ... Yesterday it was about 50/50 but the backlash over this is likely to play a huge role.NY fans seem to be freaking out over this..Lin is dominating the NY airwaves and most fan's want Lin to stay ...A lot of them would rather sign Lin and move Melo .. I think they may cave into the fans demands and try and figure out the cap hell later.

This is such typical ESPN. They absolutely love Lin, and treat him like a media sweetheart, until he leaves the bright lights of New York and joins a Houston team. Now everyone is righting him off, calling him selfish, saying he should have played in the playoffs but was more concerned about himself.
