38% post all star, ain't bad.

He'll be practicing like crazy this offseason. If it's above 40% it's pretty good. With an inside presence it'd be even easier, so maybe 43%? 43% is totally fine for me. Lin passing to Dwight would probably be one of the most exciting thing ever in b-ball. Lob passes, no-looks, between the legs, alley-oops, behind the backs, PnRs, touch-down passes, unexpected bounce passes etc etc.

Dwight's got great hands to catch the balls and finishes very very well.

Time to rejoice if they get to play together!!! Salivating!!!

It wouldn't surprise me if Jeremy didn't go anywhere. The reaction of Omer to the Howard trade makes it easier to move him, and sends up a "rocket" for other GM's that a really good defensive 7' big man, who stepped up in the playoffs, has just come on the market. Those guys are very rare. We should get an excellent return on an Asik trade. I can picture Dwight and Jeremy having fun in China, while racking up the big bucks. What's important to the Rockets, of course, is if keeping Lin is the best move now that the team is a contender, and is keeping him the right move for Alexander from a business standpoint. That last bit shouldn't factor in, but it has to.

    Interesting times!

Rejoice fellow LOFs, either way, Lin is in a great spot...either he's lobbing it Howard in route to 7-8asts/gm and a Finals appearance, or he becomes a real starting PG...either way, it's all good

Don't think we can say he's a goner (unlike Asik who will almost certainly be traded), but I wouldn't be shocked if Morey trades him to facilitate a package including Josh Smith.

Right now it comes down to how much Josh Smith is going to actually be paid and what pieces will need to be packaged with him to make the trade work.

    Up in the air? Yes.

    Goner? No.

I don't think Lin is going anywhere. He has more value to the Rockets than any other team, I highly doubt Hawks want him and Asik in return for Smith

Lin plays his best basketball w/ a center with HANDS.

Asik has some of the worst hands in the league.

Howard is the best center in the league.

I see no reason to get rid of Lin (or at best trade him mid season)

Also, I don't think Howard wants Lin gone...Rockets appeal in China would suffer a minor hit, and Howard knows that Lin is more than happy and extremely capable of getting him da rock

I personally don't see him going. I think he will improve drastically this year, particularly his shooting. Remember, he wasn't able to work out all last offseason...in the preseason last yr, he was shooting bricks. By the end of the year he was starting to stroke it...

And he's a gym rat. With his work ethic I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a very good shooter.

Plus, he's asian, and I'm sure that part of our pitch to D12 was that he would be playing with a very popular guy in china (and D12 is big on all that).

I think we get rid of Asik and some others, but keep lin and PBev.
