LOL I'm gonna look at keeping Flynn for Lin to be one of the worst moves DM ever made. Had we kept Lin instead of Flynn not would the Knicks be losing more, we'd also have a pretty good backup pg to Lowry smh.

The Knicks were playing good against the Celtics when Lin was PG in the first half. D'Antoni then switched to Douglas I guess because of seniority and the Knicks fell apart.

I assume that 82games's numbers are per 48 min., right?
The "average" PG scores 21 pts vs. Lin's 25.
The average PG deals out 9.7 assists vs. Lin's 7 (in 36 min)
The average PG grabs 4.9 rebs. vs. Lin's 5
    The average PG shoots .524 eFG% vs. Lin's .526
The average PG gives up 3.4 TO vs. Lin's 1

I know it's just one game. But he was above average in all categories. Not bad for a guy nobody gave a chance.

Shouldn't you be comparing Lin to Dragic for the rest of the season then

Good point. There isn't much of a point being upset about Lin > Flynn because we are really talking about 3rd string guys who wouldn't have played much unless Lowry or Dragic gets hurt-- and giving the depth at the wing, it's not like Lin would have earned too many minutes at the SG spot, either.

The decision didn't really cost Rockets much so far in terms of on-court contribution, it does, however seem to help the Knicks. More than that, it helps Jeremy Lin's career tremendously by giving him an opportunity to play on a PG-poor team. If J.Lin makes it, the Lin family should really buy Daryl Morey a cake for waiving him.

Keeping Lin in Houston made no sense for him or the team, people should stop b****ing.

In New York Lin competes with Tony Douglas for a starting spot

In Houston Lin competes with Lowry and Dragic

Even if he beats out Flynn he will still be third string at best, where he can start for a no PG team in New York.

Any video of the shots that he misses in that game? Would also like to see what are some of the mistakes that he makes.

I think the management was ready to trade Dragic if the deal was right. I am pretty sure Lin would have beat out Flynn for the backup spot if Dragic was gone. Keeping Lin would have been crucial then because I really don't see Flynn having any potential to be anything more than a 3rd stringer at this point.

No Amare, now no Melo. Can Lin lead the Knicks to the win against the Fazz?

Tryin to watch this game. Can't do it anymore.

Lin is nice though, should have 3-4 assists if Jeffries didn't suck balls.

Looking pretty good, he should have more assists if his teammates could finish
