to be fair though, I doubt Lin would have the opportunity to play for Rox like he's got with Knicks. The main reason he's playing is because the Knicks have no real point guards on their roster. The Rox don't have that problem.

yea fatigued....all 8 were in the 2nd half....i'll cut him some slack since he pretty much played the game with the B-team....no amare, melo and chandler for most of the game due to foul trouble

Toney Douglas was reduced to 3 min. Now he was awful during those 3 minutes, but maybe in later games he could give Lin more time to breathe. I think d'Antoni mostly wanted to show his confidence in Lin by letting him play 45 minutes.

Yea, actually that summer league match against WAll is the only reason Lin is in the NBA. He was not drafted, not on any radars for a legit pickup or even a training camp invite. He played in the summer league among many hopefuls and that night it was against John Wall so the crowd was packed and every GM or team had someone there to see John Wall play. Out of no where, Lin not only keeps up with Wall but starts really taking it to him and wins over the crowd. He defintiely seems to have the gene to keep his cool in both situations and rise to the occaison. You can tell Wall was frustrated and trying to go back at him but did just mediocre that night. Afterwards lin got offers and thats how he got in the league and now he kept it up. It feels like we ares eeing a real life 'myplayer' mode being controleld and rising the ranks

his brother posted this on facebook after the game:

"WOW great game, setting career highs once again with 28 points and 8 assists. Get ready John Wall, you're about to get a flashback to summer league :)

    Thanks to God."
