Lin seems different on the court, he talks a lot, directs people around and gets emotionally charged - natural leader on this team if you ask me
I knew it was gonna be some clowns starting the whole "Lamb is not a leader" due to his demeanor. Smh Do you consider Andre Johnson a leader? Soft spoken....does his job WELL without all the ra ra. But because he isn't all in the face of his teammates and recognizes his ability without being cocky....AJ isn't a leader??? PLEASE!!!! Save us all the bs and just say u want the seemingly best player in the rox draft this year to be traded for the Rental.
It is Kemba Walker, now of the historically bad Charlotte Bobcats, and aside from not always showing his emotions on his face during Summer League games, how exactly is he the reincarnation of T-Mac?
I knew Kemba's name but unfortunately my IPhone didn't agree. Lamb had a reputation in UConn of not having a high motor and needed to be pushed to compete by the likes of Walker 2 seasons ago. This is well documented.
Lamb was also a freshman on that team. Its very unusual for a freshman to be a leader on a great team.
Lamb was known to keep to himself on the UConn squad, not exactly a leadership mentality. It will be difficult for him to remain aloof on this team or any NBA team and expect to break out as an impact player. If he can mature a little and involve his teammates, he could progress to a leadership role in a few years. I personally see Lin and/or Parsons filling that role for the foreseeable future.
Parsons and lin are without a doubt the leaders of this team, the only rookie I see becoming another leader is Royce white. No doubt lamb might end up our best player on the team which would be awesome but sometimes the best player on the team is not the team leader. Mad chicken and white were the leaders of there college teams and Lin was the leader of the Knicks before mello came back. Lamb on the other hand was the super talented frosh playing next to the all American Kemba walker I think ultimately that's the type of role lamb falls into. Not the team leader but a very very important piece that is not replaceable
