Pgabrial, Exactly ! My point is that the Rockets last few deals have sucked. The only recent one that worked out was the Steve Francis deal. Even the Shandon and Pippen trades were questionable....although getting Pippen out of here was a good thing. DD
I was just pointing out Langhi sucks and Najera would be an assett because some basically said 1) they both would suck for us, and other said 2) they are both good and would help us. Yes, DD we gave up an extra pick AND ended up with the wrong guy (Langhi instead of Najera), if that was your point about them. Bad scouting and bad deal--it happens sometimes. I wasn't happy with the Morris deal either--but that one just might turn out OK.
First thing is.....DAN LANGHI SUCKS!!!! Najera is much better. But of course, it has to do with the coaching and system. Other players do well on other teams. SO THAT MEANS.......we need a new qualified head coach to run our team. And that major trade coming soon...it will hopefully be a big one. But without all these crappy moves made by our wonderful general manager, we would not have gotten Yao Ming. So I guess it's destiny. But in the offseason, we really need to make some changes in coaching. No time to wait for Eddie! Rashard Lewis will always be better than what Eddie will be. We should have gotten Rashard Lewis or Shareef Abdur Rahim.
Look at the positive moves: 1. drafting Mobley in the second round 2. picking up Taylor while losing nothing 3. dumping Pippen 4. Getting Steve Francis
Actually all of yall r talkin bout that Eddie and Rashard trade but u neva know how long did it take lewis to become the player he is!?I juss wana know 1 thing has anybody noticed that most trades wit the Rockets have to do W/Eddie! like the one with Shareef! Im juss wonderin if he is SO BAD why teams still want him its not like they havent seen him before and see what he does which is to most standing at the 3 pt line! Im juss wonderin!
If Griffin only turns out as good as Rashard, we're screwed. We could have used Rashard's production now.
