I think it's more Ward, Norris and Baker (I hope...). Bowen was resigned, right? He might be the 12th man, but could be packaged in a 2 for 1....
Unless someone out there really wants Bowen in a trade package, then I don't see Bowen being part of a package for anything as I don't see the Rox actively offering him to complete a trade. Bowen is a JVG type of player, Jeff likes Bowen and sees the need for that type of player on a roster...which is a high energy overachiever type of player that compensates for his lack of natural skills. Deadweight on the roster that Jeff has no need for are Vin Baker, Moochie, and Charlie Ward. The person they might actively shop for more frontcourt help is IMO David Wesley, may package him with any combination of the dead weights. Another person they might consider moving instead of Wesley is Mike James, who has given enough clues that he's going for the highest bidder when he gets the chance to become a free agent.
Is this Lonny Baxter any good? I thought he had a couple of tries at NBA and wasn't impressive at all. Playing scrubs in the summer league doesn't say much.
how does the disabled player exception work? baxter last contract was over for 500k. if ward qualifies for the dpe would it be enough to sign baxter?

everyone in this board speaks so negatively of bowen, when bowen is the best one on one defender we had last play-off series.
