Oh, and does it not disturb anyone else that we picked up a retread coach and started negotiationg with him before we fired our old coach, and, by the way, THAT WE DIDN'T LOOK AT ANY OTHER ****ING COACHING CANDIDATES?!

    WTF!?

 :(

    That is insane!

Yes. Bonzi liked playing with Adelman.

The only problem is that next season if our offense fails, we won't have defense to keep us close. I don't expect the players, if they return, to remember how to play JVG-style defense with a new coach.

Bonzi quit the team. We don't need that drama ever again.

Yeah that is a scary thought. If they just keep an ounce of it then maybe it will be good. We won't know what's gonna happen till all the tiles are in place and we see what this new coaching staff will be doing. Who is staying and who is going...too early to answer all the questions.

I think a lot of us are looking at this Roster + new coach. But in reality it's going to be maybe the core roster + new coach + new additions.

Kind of like when our defense failed our offense couldn't keep us close.

i wish we had kept JVG.

But in letting him go, I hope we go for Adelman.. and somehow JVG's defensive philosophies find a way to stick around while Adelman implements his offense. Looking forward to the possibility..

yeah that's one thing that we all would wish in a perfect world. I even brought up that point but the odds are with a faster style of offense, or more movment. They players won't have the energy to keep that intensity on the defensive side.

First, neither series should've even come to a seventh game. Second, in case of Dallas. How about motivating the players so they dont lay up an egg in the most important game of the season? in case of Jazz, how about making adjustments on Boozer so he stops dropping 35 and 15 on us??

I'm not saying win the ring in either year. But we had talent enought to get the 1st round. And these were players he brought on anyways, so its a moot point really.

Man JVG is awesome with a mic. Class Act.

Sad to see him go, I liked him a lot. Although, I'm not going to miss his nitty gritty ball style. I'd love to see some offense again.

But man, the dude was great.

the offense is still going to be ugly unless they get better players...why do so many ignore this fact?

No. I'll be satisfied just to see him on the team, but I don't think he will be here next season.
