Expect the Rockets to look long and hard at Eric Bledsoe. He is a very good complimentary player for Harden and the Rockets. Bledsoe can defend multiple positions, run the floor, facilitate or play off the ball. Only real concern I have is the lack of discipline in the back court.
He was supposed to be turning the team around in his first year. Now this. Kind of like McHale? Did the Morris twins sink the ship? I don't follow the Suns very much. His tenure was kind of weird.
What about Brandon Knight? He also seems like a good "fit" with Harden (scoring guard in a PG body, ala Jason Terry). I advocated the Rockets trading for BK last trade deadline.
Either guy would be a great pickup - but how would we get them? I don't see the Suns giving away either guy without receiving something of significance in return?
A great big..ok who? Love and Griffin and Horford IF they are traded wont' be for just picks. Their teams aren't tearing everything down and going from scratch. Only Gallo. So those multiple perimeter players would have to be included in deals.(+some of the picks) But the Suns will be willing to take back just picks because they are rebuilding, are young and already have amazing picks coming from the Heat.
Putting Horny ANYWHERE near this team would be sacrilegious. There were countless times where I wanted Chuck, Dream and even Matt Freakin Maloney to beat the brakes off of him. He was walking cheap shot, and he owes a lot of his career to John( I can't write his last name), #32 Pedophile and Jerry FightWithDWill
I would take Horny as an assistant to improve the shooting. That's all. Not as head coach. That would be like puting oil in the fire.
Now that's a great idea. Horny as shooting coach. I've been saying for a couple seasons now we need a shooting coach like England. Horny might be very good in that role. (Can't rep you right now. Gotta spread it around.)

And, I bet none of them cared that much. Allegedly, Jeff didn't connect to his team on a personal level. A coach will FAIL altogether if he/she doesn't make that relationship early on. If Tyson Chandler isn't backing you up, there's an issue. TC is as loyal as they come. Good for Earl getting the interim spot. It's been a long time coming. He's been the support there for awhile now, and his bball IQ is high, even if his career didn't yield spectacular results.
How good a defender is Brandon Knight? Is he a better offensive off the ball? I'm just thinking, this Suns team has a fairly promising trio in Warren, Booker and Len. They seem to be players who need to be fed better and would excel in a fast pace. Brandon Knight is not a long term piece. He's a decent player, but at his salary he's a well-paid role player on a young team. I wonder if Ty Lawson would suit this team a lot as lead PG. Expiring contract, covers PG minutes till Bledsoe comes back. He will make sure the young guys get the ball in better spots than Knight, who has always struck me as a bad floor general. Ty, KJ and T Jones for Brandon Knight and Teletovic? Is that such a terrible deal for any of the teams?
So if you were a team full of young players who had just spent two seasons suffering from the malcontents of Morris bros would you trade for Lawson? That's like playing with fire. That deal would never cut it and if he's traded they can find much better than this. They can get for example the Miami pick + OKC pick from Philly at the very least. Or add a small incentive for Oladipo.(Oladipo's max will be 25 per. Compared to what he's going to get paid Knight's contract is a bargain). And he's an average to slightly above average defender who always competes and tries. He's better off the ball but he wants to be a pg.
Can we pick this guy up already and hire Mailman and Stockton as assistants? Maybe even get Jerry Sloan as a consultant or something.
