I called the Rockets during my lunch break. Section 225 still has 30 seats in the $13 range and 70 seats in the $19.50. I say we just buy seats in this section and then post our seat number after we buy the ticket. The other sections I called about have 15 or less seats in the $13 section. If we all are in 225 I bet we'd have a good chance of winning the best section and get the rally towels (or whatever they give out that night). Please post if you think this is a good idea / if you want to participate. I'm going to try and buy my ticket on Friday. B
thx for doing that B. It would be a blast if people just go ahead and buy in that section to sit together. There are rows and rows of empty seats. You'll be able to shuffle around, as well. This is the simplest solution, imo. That Turkish crowd was really loud at the Kings game. They were having a lot of fun. So, what chants can we do? How about: "Lose with Pride!" since Memphis will be in serious tank form, we might need to give our support to the team.
Sorry I hadn't responded. Hadn't really had anything to add. I will be going to the last game but doing this doesn't really require buying all the tickets in advance if it was done by "ClutchCity.net". They would be willing to block out X number of seats, however, the problem is that you have to do it pretty far in advance for them to be willing to do it. Two weeks is not enough time. It really requires more like 2 months if you don't want to buy all them in advance. If someone is willing to buy up all the seats in advance, that's great. But, it is risky because I'm still waiting for money from a couple of people from last year (no one around here though).
If we just buy tickets in section 225, nobody has to put up money for other people, and that section has a lot of seats left in both the 13.00 and 19.50 price range. No risk, and we can just list our seat numbers on here and shuffle seats a little late in the first quarter. B
I'm assuming by the lack of responses that there isn't much interest in getting tickets in section 225? Please post if you are going to buy tickets in this section and hopefully other people will follow suit. B
Okay, cool. I just wanted to check before I either bought just 1 for myself or got a group of my friends together for the last game. If we have a good size CC group then I'd rather go without my friends and just yell, have fun, and meet some of the CC people. B
