I laugh every time I see this thread at the top of the page. The audacity, the butthurt and the butt hurting some more.

Jovi is German...I think he has lost interest in the Rockets and basketball some time ago.

Reminds me of my two 99er accounts...

I feel like I have a faint memory of the pre 99 forum. I started following CF back when the Pippen trade went down and I visited this site daily in 98. It was like a chat box on the right side of the screen, right?

I joined at some point to comment on a story about David Robinson being contacted by our GM and I was saying don’t do it! Clutch made a joke about the GM calling to ask if Robinson was available everyday and then saying great and hanging up.

It was likely not this account which I setup on the Sega Dreamcast in 01! Shout out to @Ottomaton for offering to get me a computer when I didn’t have one.

Same, it took me a while to register....I recall the old original page too. I was much more of a lurker back then.

I could be mixing him up with someone else, but I have a faint memory of Jeff being the member that lent me some sort of login info to listen to games online or something way back.

Jeff Balke is too busy with public causes, his involvement in charitable works and his family to respond to Fat b*stard.

I can see why Fat b*stard dislikes Jeff though...... they are polar opposites.

Jeff has a loving wife and family that he spends time with and Fat b*stard is fuming that his PlentyOFish date ordered soup AND an appetizer.

Jeff is very much up on technology and culture...... While Fatty still eats Kraft Mac & Cheese while watching Road House on his Beta player.

Jeff is a generally kind and understanding person with deep relationships..... While Fatty is Fatty.

Jeff has people regularly happy to see him....... Fatty is regularly asked to leave.

When Les Alexander was ready to move to Louisville

Jeff told all of us real fans to unite and help keep the Rockets in Houston

Thanks Jeff, I trust all your food reviews

Anything other than social media is probably "better things", and I learned not to be too self-righteous about social media because I have spent too much of my life among you strangers here on the bbs. (And not quitting any time soon. Still looking to emulate that first cherry high.)

To be fair, though: that "dancing" girl in the cowboy hat when Sam Elliot's character first appears....amiright? Amiright?
