I guess I could say I was wearing button fly jeans while you kids were in diapers. heh... I'm old.
I noticed them in commercials recently, and I remember thinking how weird. I guess they just started trying to be popular again. I've seen them for women before, but men is a whole new thing. I wouldn't buy them.

I prefer buttons over zippers. I have fond memories from my misspent youth, of randy GFs ripping my jeans off Those were the days.
The button fly was on the original 501s. Zippers were added later. I don't see why all these mall-designer brands add the button fly though, they aren't going for any sort of nostalgia with their low rise boot cut weird fade jeans.
I bought some with button at H & M last year, look great, but they are a bother when you're trying to piss when buzzed....i almost never wear them at a club due to fear I might miss a button after a pee!
