I think this thread HAD to come out again. I've read too many threads lately where posters say that they respect the j*zz and that they have character. Sloan may, but it's living in a city full of people like this poster that will always make me hate the Jazz. Couldn't be prouder to be SLC's biggest Jazz hater!!!:D

Fact: Houston is 2-0 against Utah this year when their starting point guard is in the lineup. They are 34-16 against the league when that applies.

Fact: Houston is 0-2 against Utah this year when their starting point guard is out of the lineup. They are 9-12 against the league when that applies.

Fact: The Utah Jazz are 15-25 when Andrei Kirilenko is in the lineup.

So the Jazz are terrible against the league with him and they are 11-14 when both Boozer and AK47 play. Your team played WELL below the expectations you set, even when all your players were healthy. Injuries and "obviously tanking" (LOL, right) are a convenient excuse in Utah these days for simply not being good enough to be a Top 8 team in the West.

Bottom line: Houston and Denver have humiliated you.

And you also lost 8 times to those teams. Hell, the Rockets lost to Toronto, Atlanta and was swept by the Bobcats (I believe you remember pointing this out)... even worse, they lost to Utah twice. **** happens, but at the end of the day in Houston it didn't happen 50-60 times in one season.

Pricless. I couldn't decide before, but this takes the cake! More proof that if schwa took a dump in a box and slapped a Jazz uniform on it, he'd proclaim it to be championship-bound. He wrote me this morning that if Utah had been healthy, they would have won 55 games. FIFTY-FIVE! "McGrady doesn't help Houston at all" ... LOL. Delusions abound.

The last thing we want is to be the 1984-2002 Utah Jazz. Thanks for the heads up -- we'll check under the hood and keep an eye on that.

You definitely should have! I would have loved to have heard some, "Yo Rocket fans, we're 22-48, b****!" smack.

Quick! Divert attention towards last night's game and away from the 2004-2005 season! You might want to re-read the thread. I mean if you DOUBLED your wins, you'd still be under .500. Though I'm sure you will be back when the Rockets falter in the playoffs (which you and Andrei will be watching on the big screen), there is nothing you can do or say except wait for 2005-2006. Your own words sealed your fate.

Past and present, the Rockets are way ahead of the Jazz and the future looks much brighter in Houston also. The entire triangle covered. That's a scary position for a Utah troll to be in here. I give you props for coming back because it seems out of character for you, but I'm also reminded by your post as to why defense lawyers advise their clients not to take the stand.

No god please don't.....I would rather soak my testicles in muradic acid......

Clearly the Jazz fans are still bitter about their dismal performaces in the playoffs throughout the decade of the 90's. And then just when they thought they could see the light at the end of the tunnel MJ b**** slapped them back to reality two years in a row....:D

But the best part was the two years that we knocked your sorry arses out of the playoffs you floppin', dirty playing bastards!!!

P.S. - Having said that I still love John Stockton and have him ranked as the best "pure" point guard in NBA history right after Magic Johnson who was just a freak of nature....lol

I don't know what's worse... a first round exit year after year or 20 consecutive years of playoff futility? How many times did you guys get to the playoffs and do nothing? It was 20 wasn't it? That in itself is somewhat of a mediocrity, no? Two HOF's and nothing to really show for it. Written in the annals of basketball lore as a bunch of also-rans.

My most extraordinary memory of the jazz franchise will always be the 1995 playoffs. That's the year that jazz fans in every corner of the delta center held up posters and banners exclaiming "It's Our Year". Hahahahahaha......I still laugh at loud when remembering this. Game 2 - the Champs poured 140 points on lowly jazzholes, who looked shaken and dazed, unable to figure out what had just hit them. Game 4 - Clyde and Hakeem light up the jazzholes for 40 each and win going away in a blowout, punctuated by Clyde's vicious tomahawk reverse dunk over 3 jazzhole players including karla. Game 5 - ****** donaldson tries to take Hakeem out of the game by injuring his right wrist. But Hakeem returns to the game to dominate in the 4th quarter and then defer to none other than Chucky Brown, who hammers in the final nails in the jazzhole's coffin. "it's our year"...hahhahahaa :D

I don't worry if Jazz > Rockets, maybe, they did this season. But they can never become a chanllenger against rox in any visible year.

You gotta give some props for a die hard fan sticking to his crappy team. That's loyalty+stupidty right there. We will fight till the last standing kind of mentality. I heard noises last night in Delta Center, they were cheering for that same slow Okur in Detroit as if he was next Wilt coming.

Utah is better built than Houston? That's major crap. Boozer doest stand a chance as a 4 in the west. Almost every other teams excluding us and seatter has a better 4 than Boozer. Okur is your savoir? No way. The guy is soft and slow, plus doenst have a major post game as a big man, and can guard nobody. I take soft Resho over him any day of the week. AK47, well, he is an allstar hustle player, he wont be your franchise player like Malone was. Now tell me who's Utah's point guard, who's your center?

Utah is better built than Houston? Huh.

I know. Jazz fans, Blazers fans, Kings fans, NY fans all deserve major props. Their teams went through heart-breaks after heart-breaks, they still root for their team as if their life is on the line.

On the contrary, Rockets fans in Houston suck big time in general. You have one of the most exciting teams with multiple mega superstars, a couple championships in the recent history and a stellar winning record, and you don't show up and fill the arena to support the team? Pathetic!

I'd still trade everyone except Yao and T-Mac for Kirilenko...

Built for mediocrity. That sounds awfully familiar. Oh, I know, that would describe the Jazz all throughout the 90's. Okay, they were a little better than mediocre, but year after year they saw playoff exits and late draft picks. Oh, and they got to be Jordan's b**** in the finals a couple of times.

The day the Jazz won in Houston, we didn't have Bob Sura in the lineup. It's obvious that if you look at our record without him he is a huge part of the team. We can use injuries just as easy as you can.

I have a lot of respect for Jerry Sloan. He's a great coach, one of the only things I always liked about the Jazz organization. However, he's not tanking, his team sucks compared to the rest of the West. Kirilienko, Okur, and Boozer are nice players (thought Boozer and Okur have large contracts), but aren't going to be carrying a team to any championships without other help. I like Harpring too...as a matter of fact, he'd look nice in a Houston Rockets uniform. But back to my point, the team now is not ready to contend, healthy or not. It is absolutely ludicrous to say that they are better than the current Houston roster...they have nice pieces, but as a whole they are not better.

As for now, I digress. See you in the playoffs, Utah (*snicker*)

Ryan Seacrest hosts a radio show in LA during the day, whose main audience is house wives over 30. Ryan Bowen is much more manly.

You are killing me! The Rockets are already #1 in field-goal in the paint allowed with Yao and Deke patrolling downlow, and stellar defense by Wesley and McGrady on outside, if you add an insane shot-blocking/ball stealing small forward there, McDonald would have to lower the bigmac prize line to fewer than 60 points allowed... maybe lower. Yeah he's kinda expensive, but AK47 is totally worth it. Defense wins you championships. Problem with Utah is that other than AK, Raja Bell and Matt Harpring, no one even cares about defense. Okur and Boozer think playing defense is a Russian concept, so they won't do it.

Why? You would butcher the team chemistry just to get Kirilenko? Because one of the main reasons the Rockets are winning is because of the contributions of those players you're willing to trade. Sometimes people need to appreciate what they already have.

LOL! Matt Jackson dialing in to share his two cents:D

You can't hate the Jazz more than I do Matt, you just can't:cool:

And yah, that MVP Karla got was the worst thing to ever happen in the NBA, but MJ sure showed 'em who was the MVP that year, didn't he?

Team chemistry? That can be said about trading half of our team for TMac last year. If you can get TMac to play with Yao, get him no matter what. The samething here, if you can get AK to play with TMac and Yao, do it no matter what. Also, AK is probably the most likable player you can ever find in the NBA. He's as funny and humble as it gets (kinda like Yao). He would have no problem meshing with Yao and Tmac, unless Russia and China go to war and nukes get dropped overseas.

*insert hilarious laughter, finger pointing (you know which finger) and rude gestures (including the showing of buttocks) in the direction of the j*zz fans*

To save myself from posting further please imagine after Shwa's next post that I make a loud farting noise and toss a pie at the clown...
