Are you kidding me? We have the guy that will be the best center in the league and the 25-year old with scoring titles under his belt. Be happy about your Jazz, but just be happy somewhere else, because we're not buyin' it. You sound like an Aggie.
All I can say is, when Boozer came out for the draft, I really felt he was a bargain when the draft got past the halfway point of the first round. I was really hoping the Rockets would somehow draft him. Never did understand why GMs werent higher on him. He is looking like a definite all star, even in the West. Garnett Duncan Yao Kobe TMac Nash Amare Boozer Ray Allen Nowitzki 2 spots left Kirilenko? Cassell? Parker? Pao? Melo? KMart? Baron? Rashard? Manu? Odom? Brand?
Boozer was a good college player, but good college players often amount to nothing in the NBA. For as much success as the Duke program has had, their lack of NBA stars(Besides the absolute can't-misses like Grant Hill) gives the notion that the players, while good, are just products of a very good system. Also, wasn't Boozer sort of overweight coming out of college?
4 months later ... so many responses, so little time. I can't pick out the most unbelievable line of the bunch. Let me just say that, honestly, if this thread isn't the funniest ever, it's top 5. DISCLAIMER: In no way does the poster Clutch nor the site ClutchFans endorse the practice of "bumping" old threads for comedic purposes, but this laugher was SCREAMING and begged to be silenced.
Clutch you the man!!! To schwa, Sean Reynolds, and any other Jazz trolls....HOW YOU LIKE DEM ROCKETS NOW!!!
First the awesome front page recap bash, now this. Clutch letting off a little steam. Always feels good to stick one right in the jazzholes' grill. R0x 4 eva.
yeah for the next few years the rox will be giving it to the jazz. I think AK is a very good player but i think is overrated for the ammount of money he got. I think they will be a good team but never a great one, of course unless they make some moves.
It's hilarious to read the comments from November. The Jazz the third best team behind Minnesota and San Antonio? Well, he was right about San Antonio being number two.
