Round1 Utah VS Houston - Houston wins in 6 games Round 2 Houston VS Dallas - Dallas wins in 7 games Different Scenario Round2 Houston VS Dallas - Houston actually wins in 7 games Round 3 Houston VS Phoenix - Phoenix wins in 5 Alternate Scenario Round 3 Houston VS San Antonio - Houston wins in 6 games Finals: Houston VS Detroit - Houston Wins Title in 6 games Those are my predictions... If we actually beat Dallas in Round 2 then we have a good shot at beating SA but if we had to play Phx forget it...
None of the top teams in the west are preferable but you have to play the hand you're dealt. Jazz or Spurs both are tough matchups for the Rox but the Rox have also beaten both too.
I would go with the Jazz, because they don't really have the experience if you discount Fisher and Okur, who have both been to the finals.
The Jazz or the Spurs? Are you kidding? The Jazz... a million times the Jazz. As tough as the Jazz are, the Spurs are a much tougher team and them having HC over us would be a problem (as opposed to the Jazz having HC over us). We can beat both teams I believe, but in the playoffs the Spurs have consistantly been an even greater force to be reackoned than they are in the regular season. My prediction at the start of the season was Rockets/Suns WCF with the Rockets going down in 6 and I stand by that. As hard as it will be to get around Dallas I think it's very possibly, but as I've maintained since early in the season... the Suns are the one time we can not best. But yeah, give me the Jazz anyday. The Spurs with homecourt aren't a team I'd want to encounter in the 1st round
You are right. The Jazz is a tougher matchup than the Spurs. The Jazz's center, Okur is way better than Elson. We would be better off playing the Spurs.
That applies to the Jazz as well. Deron Williams owns Alston and Boozer owns Hayes/Howard. Regardless, I'd take the Jazz anytime, as we've only been beating the Spurs this season. In previous years, we were getting thoroughly owned.
Spurs, they are a slower team and play our style. we were able to beat them twice in SA and that might help if we can take care of business at home.
