LOL, the Hawks pairing Mitchell and Trae. They could have prime Garnett, prime Dream, and prime Pippen, and they would still struggle to be good defensively Mitchell on the Heat could be nasty though. Enough of a defensive infrastructre to absorb him.

I don't follow the Heat closely, but isn't Robinson near useless right now? How is Herro on defense? I don't think Oladipo is good. I don't think Jazz will do this unless Mitchell forces his way out
Riley would give up Herro for Mitchell in a heartbeat. Only problem is making the salaries work since Herro is still on his rookie contract. Attaching Duncan to the deal still leaves them a few million short.
Mitchell would be an upgrade over any of those guys. Herro and Mitchell may be a wash in terms of value because Herro is still young and might still improve.

Ehhhhh he got to playoffs with none marquee superstar and has a respectable overall record. He has some coaching chops. Wouldn't say he's hot garbage but man isn't that good either since he just got his a$$ handed to him by a lukaless mavs
you’d have to be absolute bottom of the barrel as a coach to not make the playoffs with the Jazz roster so I don’t view that as a high bar or anything impressive at all Jazz get wrecked in embarrassing fashion every year
why go to heat when the rox can trade kjp, wood, tate, chuck hayes, and maybe even wall for salary matching?
It's ridiculous that Mitchell is wondering about the franchise's future, but it isn't his fault. The media plays players like him like a fiddle and make them believe that they should be competing for championships. They put batteries in their backs that keep them from finding peace in their situations. With peace, he would either find comfort in whatever situation the Jazz put him in or confidently and assertively find a way out.
