Maybe I am taking this the wrong way but...

He probably meant "LOOK AT US WE ARE ALSO BEING MORONS WITH ALL THESE KNEE JERK THREADS ABOUT TRADES AFTER ONE LOSS AFTER A TOUGH GAME IN PHOENIX THEN TRAVEL TO PLAY THE FASTEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE"

sorry for the caps. but i think that's what he meant...

Utah fans boo him because he used that as an excuse to LEAVE the team. Think about it, the treatment his daughter received was during the off-season. His daughter no longer receives the type of treatment he went after. Why did he have to leave Utah for that? Couldn't he have just moved to LA for the off-season, did the treatment and moved back to Utah? Hell, an NBA player spends half the season away from home, anyway, so that doesn't seem like the real factor at all. He wanted to leave the Jazz and he used his daughter's health issues as an excuse. Carlos Boozer's son had to have a bone marrow transplant, but you don't hear Boozer talking about leaving the Jazz, do you?

Fisher didn't like it here, he wanted to leave and instead of demanding a trade, he basically suckered the Jazz into releasing him because his daughter "needed" help, even though help was offered here in the state and most of it would've happened during the off-season anyway. Yeah, I can see why Jazz fans are angry.

I don't post much because I'm not a Rockets fan. I normally just talk NBA and Jazz. I don't see why how many posts I have should dictate whether my opinion is valid or not.

And I'll say what I want about Fisher, especially when he hustled the Jazz out of cash.

OK, well have a great night worrying about how much money he stole from you and the jazz. cuz we all know that their money is directly tied into your account.... you know you have issues when you defend fans treating someone like **** for making a family decision, and then argue with just about everyone on ANOTHER team's board. Get a life

AK47 was locked and loaded tonight.

    20 points, 11 rbs, 11 assists, 6 steals, 4 blocked shots.

    Freak...

I guess if you tell a lie long enough, it becomes the truth. Most here realize Fisher didn't leave the Jazz to help his daughter. He left the Jazz because he didn't like playing here and just used that as an excuse.

It's also probably true that Utah's decision to release him from his contract wasn't entirely motivated by compassion for his daughter. Fisher was overpaid at 6+ million a year and his intangilbles and leadership skills weren't that essential to the team after Williams emerged as a star.

This was a win win for both sides but booing Fisher just makes the crowd look classless.

I don't doubt the first part, but Utah still had to suck it up and lose money on the entire deal. Classless because they boo? Eh, if that defines what makes a fan base classy or not, then I think people are just a bit touchy. Though I'll admit Utah probably has some of the worst fans in the NBA when it comes to things like this...I just don't think it's a big deal.

It's not like they were booing his daughter and pelting her with trash or anything like that.

so sean basically you are saying fisher, one of the classiest guys in the league, is an amoral individual who basically has no conscience and has the ability to take the life and death situation of his daughter's cancer and use that as an excuse to leave SLC? do you know how insanely stupid that sounds?

hell i just looked up an article for it. (i just realized that it was the same article that was in the link posted earlier)the treatment that fisher wanted for his daughter WAS NOT OFFERED AT PCMC in salt lake. he wanted the procedure that would direct the chemo to the eye rather than thru the entire body. granted i know nothing about how successful it is but it sounds like it would certainly be better to concentrate the chemo on the effected eye rather than the entire body. so pretty much you are saying he just chose this treatment so he wouldn't have to stay in SLC? come on man...you are losing it if you believe that.

Jazz fans are toooooo stupid and mentally incapable of thinking rationally. As I said, incest is not good for the brain.

From what I remember he told the Jazz that he wanted to take time off while his daughter was going through treatment, then just happened to sign with the Lakers after he was let go. If he told them he was going to sign with the Lakers beforehand then I don't have a problem with what he did, if he said he wanted time off just so he could get out of his contract and knew he would be signing with another team then he deserves to get booed.

And even if that is the case what he did is nowhere near as bad as Boozer lying to the Cavs to get out of his contract, of course I doubt any Jazz fans see anything wrong with what he did.

Jazzholes will always come up with some excuse for their plight. Even the Mavs and Spurs fans aren't that bad.

I'm a laker fan and fisher did not exhibit class. SLC does have institutes, top notch facilities. He could've helped upgrade it with his bloated contract if he saw it as not fitting his daughter's needs. However, he didn't and bolted to LA.

Everyone knows Fisher did not like Utah. There was big problems when he was dealt and he bad mouthed the place. He just wanted to go home to play for his real team, the laker's and live in a city which he is friendly with.

It's not like he couldn't help bring these things to SLC to help other cancer patients. He after all had a massive contract which he didn't deserve.

It's just a bit fishy. Fisher never liked Utah. He dissed the place, said he didn't want to play there.

I think if he wanted to, he could've stayed in SLC with the Jazz.

As you can see, I'm not happy that Fish came back to LA . I was happy the day he left. His low effecient, bad decision making matador defense was not wanted in LA. Yesterday, Deron williams absolutely destroyed him. He can't guard elite pg's if his life depended on it.

His goal is to save his daughter, not become a humanitarian.

You are just a bitter Faker fan.
