no. its cool that they go for us but it still doesnt dispute the fact that utah has classless fans. it doesnt dispute the fact that utah has some of the dirtiet players in the league along with one of the dirtiet coaches in nba history as i said, its cool that they're rooting for us but im supposed to say "oh thank you utah, we love you too" just because utah is pissed that they loss to the jazz while at the same time rooting for the rockets (a team they knocked out of the playoffs last year) to give them some type of satifaction that being if the rockets beat the lakers it would make them feel better about themselves that the team they beat in the playoffs beat the team that knocked them out of the playoffs?
I'm not saying any of that. I'm just giving them PROPS for showing respect. I don't usually see it from Jazz fans. I don't care for what their reasoning is, honestly, I think Lakers fans are 10x worse than Jazz fans after what they have been saying the last 5 days. And trust me, I've been around Jazz fans, they are classless and disrespectful also.. but Lakers fans are really just pathetic, I can see why every team hates their fans.
Speaking of the Jazz I have to confess something. So I went to the mall Saturday and bought the Deron Williams Nike's.
i dont like lakers fans and jazz fans, so both of each teams fans opinions mean squat to me. all im saying is they dont deserve props for rooting for us in the playoffs because at the end of the day it just a pathetic attempt to feel good about themselves by rooting for the team you knocked out of the playoffs last year opposed to the team that just knocked you out of the playoffs. if i was a utah jazz fan (puke) i would root for the rockets too
In fact I havent seen any other fanbase cheering for fakers, i guess being underdog does help, hence rockets has the good guy/tough defense image. After game 1, stern may think rocket vs cav is not a bad idea...
I don't think is about the Rockets being an underdog, persay, rather most fanbases despise the Los Angeles Lakers.
Yes, they may not take it to the arena. But come on, how many posts have you seen about Kobe involving rape on this board? I've counted a good bit. Not defending Utah fans, because I hate Utah just as much as the next guy, but don't act like our fans are all classy.
