yeah, i hope Yao drops 40/20 every time we play Jazz so their fans may change their opinions on Yao. Sadly this is not happening. In fact Yao hasn't been exactly impressive againt Jazz since joining the league. so what do you expect from Jazz fans?

I hope all non Rockets fans think about Yao Ming in the same way, because they are about to have a rude awakening! :p

FYI Boozer has maintained an impressive FG pct throughout his career.

    This is my personal favorite:

"Also I cant believe we still have only 2 appearances on ESPN/TNT"

Hmmm...I wonder who they think will be more entertaining to watch. Oh, and I guess it's worth mentioning that the better teams are usually on national TV more often! ;)

I'd say I hope I don't eat my words later, but I think the only thing we have to worry about is Utah actually being good this year and "earning" more appearances on national TV. We're already respected more at this point, and I doubt we'll have the woes of last season! :)

I love this stuff..it just makes the game more exciting..they had the rockets underdogs yesterday now they have them as a 2 point favorite..so it really doesnt matter what any body else says about the rockets

Yeah, they can say they will beat us, but to say Yao has no talent to be a center and Sura is in the rotation shows how moronic those idiots are. Who the heck is Hoffa? And AK47 contains Tmac?

I, though, think this game will not be easy one for us to take. I hope we can beat them, doenst matter by how many points.

"Well I say put Hoffa in to ruff it up with Yao."

"If we play hack-a-shaq on Yao he'll crumble like an overbaked cookie."

Looks like the Jazz fans still love the old "assault as strategy" approach that Malone was so renowned for.

If Araujo was that tall, he would be as good as Yao. Yao is as athletic as the tree that blocks my sattelite signal. Sure it got a block, but not because of skill.

    LOL

Well, at least the ClutchFans are crazy/optimistic for a GOOD reason. I bet my house  that the Jazz will NOT be anywhere near the Finals.

On the other hand, as hopeful as I am for my Rockets, I'm not gonna bet my house on them winning it all - Doh!

Too bad Jerry Sloan isn't as disillusioned as the Jazz Fans. I only wish Okur and Boozer would hack Yao to a 30 pt game, and after the 2nd quarter they can both sit on the bench.

Yeah, he has about a 4 foot range. Let him get 40 against Yao, Hayes, and Deke. He will chew up a lot of possessions with either missed shots or turnovers, and slog down their whole offense while guys stand around on the perimeter so that they give him as much space as possible. He won't maintain that type of percentage. I'd much rather he become a black hole in the middle trying to get 40 on our guys than for the Jazz to pass it around and get open looks on the perimeter or get Kirilenko going in an uptempo game. Besides, he'll give up 42 on the other end.

Wow. Just Wow. And I'm not talking World of Warcraft. Someone saying Tmac is heartless and can't play D? Yao has no talent and is only good because he's tall?

I can't blame them if they think they're going to win. Be a fan, be a homer, we've all been there. But to think it's going to be a cakewalk over a team that's CLEARLY more talented then them is a joke. For all the talk about how bad Yao is, why do they keep talking about how they're going to stop him?

These people all go to the ESPN's school of NBA basketball. They basically get their knowledge about the Rockets and our players from the Sportscenter. So what did you expect?
