IMO Lowry is not a ball dominant player. But with him and Butler at the clutch moment, that is where T-Wolves lack of last year. They actually lost a lotta games (one of the most in NBA i think?) in the 4th Qtr. If they add Lowry, I can see them a 50 win team. Giving 1 - 2 years growth of Wiggins and Towns. They are a pretty damn good team to me.
Yeah, i'm not saying they won't get better with Lowry (even though he has the tendency to choke a lot in big games), i can agree with that, it's just that he would kinda remind me of Lowry and Derozan (Wiggins) + Butler + Towns...maybe it's just me but i don't see a great fit, more talent yes, definitely, but yeah...
Rubio is trash fam. No way around it. I'd rather have a overpaid Rose than a guy who cant shoot, finish or create his own shot. Rose will get you 17pts a game. Teague's also a upgrade
Holy **** are the timberwolves trying to ruin their playoff chances now? rubio was perfect for their system and it's not like he was ever bad for them either. All he does is try to facilitate the offense through his pasing and doesn't rely on his scoring. Maybe twolves want lowry but I don't think he was a better fit than rubio.
Rubio is a pg who makes everybody worse because he can't shoot so opponents just play zone D and dare him to shoot the 3. Of course Rubio won't do that (only attempts 2.3 3s a game) and since he isn't an athletic freak he can't break the D down either so he passes it to somebody else and THAT dude has to break the opponent's zone D. This is a big reason why Minny who is supposed to be an offensive juggernaught struggles put up an underwhelming performance. Passing skills are useless when you can't shoot, it works when you have 4 other shooters but unless that pg is amazing like Iverson or Westbrick amazing why do that when the league has so many complete pgs? Mayve Rubio proves me wrong and Holic is vindicated, but unless wicky rubio fixes his broken J I think he is a subpar pg in the league.
