actually it was "Big Pimpin Spendin G's" and Tupac actually did the song "Me and My girlfriend" in 96 which is what Jay-Z's 03 song is a take off of. But, I think this relationship will work out fine for Beyonce, If she gets tired she can always crawl up in his lips.
N!gg@s see you in the street, pretend to be friendly, But I know any type of success breeds envy; I know in the back of your mind your conjuring ways to hit me, Leave my friends in a circle, pouring out Henny But G's is...heaven bound so how I'm gon' receive Anything y'all pour to the ground "Next time THROW IT UP!" Ain't nothing changed, so even in my afterlife I SEW IT UP "Don't grieve for me" My art remains.....like a dart, from the speaker to your heart, Spiritually through the portal now my words are immortal; Don't plan to leave without a fight, I plant a seed, I give life Though I can't see past the girl's greed to call her wife; Next time your thinking heist, better be pre-cise, Cause I'm fully prepared, one of us is gon' leave here; I have no regrets, even though I won't see grow, My godsons Boogie, Sonny and Rimo Lucky Me BTW, it's spending Gs not spinnin the cheese
Jay-z was one of my favorite rappers before Blueprint 2. Going back to Reasonable Doubt, Jay-z spit hot bars. Now its like he's lost his hunger even though he wont admit it.
I think the diss tracks by Nas "Ether", "Stillmatic" and "I Got Myself a Gun" had everything to do with that.
Ether is one of the best rap songs I have ever heard. Nas is easily the #1 lyrical rapper. And he put out 3 albums in the last year.
