He is old now and not that good anymore. Same goes for Rodman that has been planning for a comeback for over a year now.

The game has gone past them now.

Exactly. JuanValdez is technically correct, I think, but I read that the first thing he said after he shot the guy was something like "****, my life is over" or something like that...he only thought about himself, immediately tried to force others to help him cover the thing up, etc. From reading it, it didn't even seem like he was sorry or cared about the guy he just shot, he just wanted to make sure he would not in trouble himself.

I heard that he would have to pay a substantial amount to reimburse the insurance payout he got when he retired. I don't see it happening.

Please, please, please stop the insanity.

Is there some rule that, whenever a player is mentioned in some story somewhere, there must be a post inquiring about the Rockets' interest?

If you honestly believe that the Rockets might honestly be interested in Jayson Williams, you are simply a moron. And if you don't believe any of that, why post?

I never paid that much to the whole trial hearing on Jason Williams. I just remember him as a player during his stint with the Nets. A good defender and rebounder at the PF position... what the Rockets in my opinion are still lacking. I knew he was let off as innocent so i figured he didn't do it. I never paid attention to what he was charged for. My bad on this post:(

Well, since every player in every article written has some sort of "chance" with the Rockets, I won't take this too seriously.

But the man shot a guy with a shot gun and tried to cover it up, accident or not, its murder.

Also, I remember watching the news, and how Benjamin Benoit (old ex-player) testified against Williams, and said that Jayson Williams had shot his own dog dead with a shot gun, because it it wouldn't come to him.

If ALL this is true, the guy deserves to go to prison, let alone play professional basketball. But as NJ said it, thats the way things go now a days.

Jayson Williams probably had one or two good seasons through out his career. But he was a media darling of New York.

I thought Jayson Williams got some ridiculous 100 Million dollar insurance policy because of his injury, and he'd have to give that up if he ever played again.

I don't think the guy is hurting for money. Did anybody see him on Cribs? Freaking shooting his shotgun and everything. So ironic.

Why is this in the GARM again?

He's making a come back to get back some of the millions he spent trying to stay out of prison. It's obvious.
