Jay Z is better than 90% of his crap out there. And as far as "commercial", his last commercial song was "Show Me What You Got" off Kingdom Come which was no where near the best song off of it and since then he also came out with the American Gangster album which was also amazing. danggg at.khatri droppin the knowledge....i still don't like jay-z, well...because of his affiliations. As of now Nas, Immortal Technique and Lupe are at my tops. Add in a little Lil' Wayne for when I feel like being silly.
Haha emuu, soo thats the reason you don't like him. I agree with you with Nas and Lupe, but my top 4 is them 2, Jay Z and Chamillionaire. Its sad how underrated Chamillionaire is like with the whole battle goin on with Kanye and 50 Cent about who outselling who with the albums, and Chamillionaire comes out a month or so later with Ultimate Victory and completely owns both albums but due to not being as commercial as them doesn't reach the number of sales they do.
I liked Sound of Revenge better...but Ultimate Victory was good too...Chamillionaire is one of my fav artists with Nas and Lupe Jay Z is really overrated, I only song I really really like was Big Pimpin' and Dirt Off Your Shoulders

On the east coast they could sneeze and get a record deal but Jay Z deserved most of the accolades he got. Now all the crap about putting himself in the same sentence with Pac is crazy, no one is on the same level as he was.
Jay-z has some great albums but his last 2 since Black Album were weak IMO. Hopefully this Blueprint will be better than BP2 cause that was one piece of hot garbage, specially following the original which is a classic IMO.
