People who want chicken ain't gonna go to BK no matter what. They're going to Chick-fil-et. But this way, if you're the only person who wants chicken, and everyone wants a burger, maybe the chicken whopper will stick out in your mind a little more, and you might not insist on going elsewhere. (same is true with the vegetarian stuff they serve) And yes, that commercial makes me laugh every time. It actually gets better with age, I think...
If you guys want to talk about chicken sandwhiches, then you have forgotten to mention the greatest of all time. Nothing can touch the taste that is Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwhich.
Raven: Amen brother, that thing is great. It's my staple on the wendy's menu. That and the big bacon classic. Plus, the 99 cent chicken nuggets are good too. I like wendys a lot. Whataburger is great too, but its just not as convenient, not as many, etc. Chick fil-A rules, a couple 12 packs of nuggets, large order of waffle fries, and a large lemonade and I'm set My underrated fast food place is Jack in a Box, I love their chili cheese fries, their spicy chicken sandwich is also good, plus the sourdough bread is cool. This isnt a "burger" fast food place, but man its probably the best on my list. It's called "Chipotle", and is a Mexican style fast food place, but not in the sense of Taco Bell, its real gourmet style food. I frequent that place a bunch on the UT campus-thank you dining dollars, and I must say it rocks. The steak tacos and the barbacoa are my favorite things to order there, but everyone is good. Also anybody here like salsa-and I mean flaming hot(spicy salsa), try chipotle's "hot" sauce, thank goodness for free refills and even then it's too much. The medium packs a punch too. I'm not usually a wimp when it comes to salsa, but I go mild at chipotle. If you have one of these restaurants in your area and haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it, because you'll likely get hooked. It's that good.
I haven't eaten at Chipotle but have heard mixed reviews, with a lot of people not liking it too much. Given these reviews, and the fact that McDonald's is one if its main investors, I have steered clear. Besides, in Houston I find Taco Milagro (which interestingly is now backed strongly by Wendy's as is the affiliated Cafe Express) to be very very good, although I know some on this board aren't as impressed.
I have been to Chipotle several times and I love it. I always order their chicken burritos (which are the biggest burritos I have ever seen). The combination they have of the rice, chicken, beans and mild salsa (yeah, I'm a wuss) make for a hell of a meal, complemented perfectly by fountain root beer. Mmmmm....burritos...
Chipotle is like Freebirds with fewer options and lower-quality, in my opinion. I think they were just trying to be "different" from Freebirds, but they should have just copied them outright.
