No team would have drafted him at 3 over Jabari
The big hope was that he would slide down to the Rockets 2nd pick

Lol, he is a unique talent and listed as SG and PF......although struggling a tad as PF.

He is 6'5 but has 7'2 wingspan.

Jay Dub went alpha dog on the Warriors tonight. 12/15 for 28 points.

I think he'll end up the best player from the 2022 draft.

    Yes. Yes. Yes.

Fortunately, he doesn't play for a bonehead of a coach in over his head like Scott Brooks.

Yeah, he looks filled out compared to last season in 1 Offseason and I checked he is 6'6.

Terrific young player, don’t see him being better than Paolo who looks like a true #1 option you can run your offense through on a contender, or even Chet.

Even though he's a very talented offensive player, I doubt Paulo can be the #1 option on a legit contender. But we'll see.

I also cannot see Wemby on a contending team, but slowly but gradually those things will happen......

I would think of the Heatles and Wade would temporarily free up the Number 1 to Lebron but we all knew it was Wade's franchise for so long.

IMO, it's a mistake to compare Victor to anyone. He's in a category all by himself. His upside is in a different galaxy than Paolo or Jay Dub. If health doesn't hinder him, it's wide open where he ends up as a finished product on offense.

Being the Number 1 and the Leader can also be different and 2 guys.

Chris Paul was the leader of the Clippers while Blake Griffin posted better numbers.

This Number One option is one of the most senseless topics of our time......when it is not clear.

Does it make Chris Paul less of basketball player being the Number 2 but still leading the team?

He also joined Harden because the Rockets had a HOF player who couldn't lead in the Playoffs.

JDub is really nice but he ain't better than the top 3 IMO. Being a big man is just more valuable than a wing. Like Jabari for example dude is a 6'10 defensive big man shooting 38% from on 4.5 attempts while grabbing 8 boards. That's pretty rare in the L, you are hard pressed to find big men who are shooters who aren't defensive liabilities.

I know, I know, "consider the source". But since this is a Jay-Dub thread, here you go.

Cody will be in contention for the #1 pick this year. You've probably seen him already. This is for others.
