Jax CB Rashean Mathis could be had for mid-rd pick.

Three GMs/personnel people also told me they think Jax CB Rashean Mathis could be had for mid-rd pick.

He's better than Jackson and Allen.

Tired of seeing opposing WR's consistently abusing Creamed Jack and Allen.

After seeing Kubes and Wade put Kareem back in the starting role after Allen has outplayed him, I don't think the Texans have any interest in bringing in someone to take KJ's job. They spent a first round pick on the guy and they're going keep putting him out there for at least a couple of years before they pull the plug.

^^ That's the thinking I don't understand. The guy gets burnt like toast on a weekly basis but the coaches want to keep playing him because of where he was drafted. It's no secret the guy is garbage, bite the bullet and admit you royally f'd up on the pick. Kareem shouldn't be on an NFL roster

I wouldn't say Kareem shouldn't be on an NFL roster, but he hasn't proven that he should be a starting CB.

    Donny,

May be true, but they're not acting like it with KJax.

Even if Kubiak gained the sense to cut bait with a poor starter, teams aren't keen on sending their better players to division rivals.

Allen made two big plays... but I wouldn't go so far as to claim he putplayed Jackson. The Oakland game turned the minute they started abusing Allen.

I think they're both pretty lousy. With Jakcson, I'm *guessing*, they like that he's a sure tackler (which he is, actually). But, yeah - if an upgrade could be had, they'd be fools not to pursue.
