Is it too late to pick up Javale McGee and is he eligible to be included on the playoff roster? Dorsey and Capella ain't taking us to the promiseland anytime soon (especially Dorsey). Can someone answer the same question for Nate Robinson as well. Thanks in advance for the information.
I think to be eligble we'd just habe to sign him for at least the last game of the season. But there is a reason no one has signed him yet. He wants too much or too long of a deal. Hopefully he'll come to his senses before it's too late.
Before getting to all that other stuff (which I'm not really sure on), the Rockets have a full roster. This is the roster they have & are going with, for better or for worse.
you're right, McGee doesn't get blocked by the rim every attempt he has. You're clueless if you think he's not an upgrade
if we dont intend to bring Bev back and get a PG via the draft, can we cut him, as he is a fa this summer ? would love to have him back but i got the feeling he won't be cheap and we need help now imo
This could not be more true. Dorsey may very well be the worst player on an NBA roster at this time, who is getting significant enough minutes to lose us games. He has air balled 3 Free Throws in the past week. McGee and every other NBA level talent runs circles around this guy. Plus, he is going to be 32 years old, so there is no teaching this scrub anything new at this point. His legacy as a Rocket ranks right up there with Thomas Hamilton.
Its too late man that dude has such a low IQ level it would take him many games to incorporate him within our play style. He would be a hindering liability since he doesn't know our team. Plus who are we gonna cut?. Next year we can add that 3rd all star if not the following year.
I just don't see how we could not come away with a better play maker at the deadline, seriously KJ Mcdaniels?. While Prigioni has been a decent backup Morey should've cashed in our chips at the deadline.
Again... did none of you McGee only fans not take a gander at how he was playing when he was with Philly this year? Trust me. The guy wouldn't be in the rotation under McHale, and most coaches. He's simply not right physically, or completely out of shape. Sitting out the last month wouldn't help his cause. The guy would simply get beat out by Dorsey and probably Capela right now. He was THAT BAD. LET IT GO
If Morey doesn't replace Dorsey he either doesn't believe we can win it or he can't get anyone to sign. Morey knows we can't win this thing without picking upa big that can give us 10-15 minutes of quality defense and rebounding and can shoot free this at least at a respectable >50% accuracy.
Again... the 96 Bulls had Bill Wennington as their backup 5. A guy who averaged 4pts/3 boards a game. The Rockets playoff hopes rest on the shoulders of Dwight Howard and James Harden.
