If Morey is high enough on Thompson and Ish, would he dare trade AB for Thompson???

Thumbs, to me, he's the kinda player interms of the total package the rockets could really use. He can play both the pf and center. He has a good bbiq, skilled with upside. He's better than hill and patterson and can still grow. He's the exact kind of player the rox need to transition this team forward. If he's availible, which by my pipeline he isnt, he's worth a 1st.

If not Thompson, is there another acquirable, young, athletic center that would appeal to Morey's moneyball ethos and serve the Rockets well?

Dont know. I actually think if the kings move him, they're making a mistake. Thompson and cousins can play together or should learn to play together.

That would be a horrible trade. AB is proven, Thompson isnt.

Jason Thompson is said to be soft according to what fans were saying on the Kings board after the Landry trade... in other words they were saying that J. Thompson makes Bosh look like Charles Oakley.

Uhhhh... like Yao Ming.... like Chuck Hayes.... yeah, no they really dont.

Brad Miller - passing center, plays high post alot. played PF for his first few seasons

Yao - oft injured, lots of question marks

Jordan Hill - Lots of potential but I really would like to see him be able to play the 4 spot more and have more help in the paint. Also inconsistent.

    Chuck Hayes - 6'5".... yep.

Because what we are clearly missing is another powerforward?

He's not very athletic and not very good on defense, and certainly not better than anything big we have right now.

HA Do you watch the Kings at all? Ain't no way Tyreke has passing skills, man. He's a ballhog and causing disharmony among his teammates according to a news article recently.

Well I do agree Thompson has massive amount of potential. The best thing about it is just like Hill he can play C adequately. I'd trade Hill for him and have a young frontcourt of Thompson and PP.

There is virtually no way they would want Hill from the Rockets, they are looking to shop Thompson because there isnt enough minutes at the 4 an 5 spot.

Hill is better rebounder and defender, but lower BBIQ, overall skill, and energy level. I assume, future picks or upgrades at the SF or PG spot would be what they would even try to look at. So heres the list of what they would probably want in return.

    Aaron Brooks
    Draft Picks(most likely multiple)
    Chase Budinger?
    Jermaine Taylor?
