Completely different. You never heard Harden sound as if he regretted signing with us. The past should be the past... It's Terry making these remarks, NOW at a time when he should help foster better chemistry.
I don't have a problem with him explaining his off-season plans, and why his plans and decisions changed. I do have a problem when he talks about the Mavs and uses "us" as in he is still a Mav. He does try hard to work with our current roster, and at every game he tries hard to get the fans involved. I just think he should use "us" when he is talking about the Rockets, as he gets his paycheck from Les.
i planned on pulling up to ariza's house if he took another pull up jumper. ariza made quick work of that to make sure i dont go there. past is the past terry is too good to be completley out of the rotation. this team is too deep. need to trade some of that depth
We still do have the better team and terry knows this. He's just being PC in front of his hometown and old team he played for and won big with. After we win tonight only 1 game will separate us.... Rockets will have a better record by years end.
You know, as much as I love that movie, I never understood what the point of them having a bottomless pit in the middle of their city would be? Although I guess that would give them a lot of leverage in their negotiations. "Hold on! Before you start telling us your terms, come and stand with your backs to this bottomless pit- just in case things don't go smoothly" I'm not really sure what that has to do with Jason Terry and the Mavs
Let it go. He played well for us tonight. And I loved his giddy celebration after Harden's dagger shot.
Not a big deal. With Jordan, they had a chance to lose in 6 against the Rockets. I can't blame him for that. Losing in 6 is honorable.
I wouldn't put much stock into what Jason Terry is saying. He played with the Mavs a long time and I could understand why he might have wanted to retire there plus we don't know what all was going on with the Rockets intentions during free agency. Maybe he wasn't our first option and knew it? We don't know. It doesn't impact team chemistry since he's on the team now.
Well, Morey hadn't signed him yet. I could understand why he would be angling for more than a vet minimum contract.
He doesn't believe in this team. I'll like him when he tattoos a trophy on his arm. Until then I don't trust him.
If you read the whole article he gives a well-reasoned answer. His family lives. Ultimately he decided to stay with us so this is a non-story. I still love Jason Terry
Of course, it's only okay to be calculating when you're management. When you're a player, not only are you expected to be okay with being low-balled like Terry, but you have to fix team chemistry also? I would look to the guys making the max for that.
