That's a funny stipulation. So much for the Bucks fans who thought this meant they'd get Garnett and Pierce out of this as well.
My congrats to the Milwaukee Bucks. They just found their version of Isaiah Thomas. The moral here? Be VERY careful what you wish for.
Kidd thinking to himself: Boy, did I ever **** up? I tried to strong arm the Russian and he wasn't having any of it. Now I'm stuck in Milwaukee, coaching the Bucks?! Not only did I not get it in Brooklyn, you mean I'm not getting it here in Milwaukee either?! No front office role, no final say over things like I wanted? Spoiler

Jason Kidd and Bucks are working on contract: $4 mil-$5 mil a year range, per sources. Interesting. Wait, what? You're thinking he's going to pull a Bobby Knight, now that he's in the midwest?
[rquoter]Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle is in a unique position. He coached Kidd, considers him a friend but is also president of the NBA Coaches Association. In a text message to USA TODAY Sports, Carlisle played it down the middle. "This is a byproduct of a dynamic and highly competitive multibillion dollar business," Carlisle said. "We view this as an aberrational transaction between two teams that is unlikely to happen again soon."[/rquoter]
