Pretty sure no Mavs fan right now would blame Dirk if he asked for a trade.

If there's one thing I give Cuban credit for is that he can't stand losing even if he has to shell out the big bucks in order to win. $44 million is nothing to him. Not being able to surround Dirk with the necessary talent to contend in his last 2 years is a huge blow.

Why would NYK sign Kidd AND Felton if they plan to match Lin?

I think this is a hopeful sign that Lin is coming our way. Even IF some article says Kidd is supposed to mentor Lin.

Read carefully. With the signing of Kidd, they would either match Lin or sign Felton, not both.

Where would he go? I can't think of anything that makes sense other than possibly LA for Bynum.

LA Geezers, Dirk, Kobe, Nash, Gasol, Grant Hill.

But I don't think he will. Dirk strikes me as the kind of guy who will play out the string without causing a fuss. His career thirst was quenched by the one championship. Rolling in $44 million and padding his career stats to finish up is just what the doctor ordered. He has a nice comfort zone in Dallas; no need to rock the boat and move somewhere else.

Boredom during the season might become an issue.

Oh for sure. Plus his relationship with Cuban is much different from Nash's(in terms of the agent making things difficult).
Just don't think any Mavs fans would blame him though, but yeah I don't see him ever asking for a trade.

He didn't sign. He's holding out for more money.
