Come on, Kidd. You can do better that. I wanna see better witty, borderline rule breaking tricks.

I don't know what's more laughable between Kidd pulling that move, then you have the assistant coach drawing up the play while they clean up the floor, and then the Lakers join in on the fake timeout/huddle.

the Rockets better win that game tomorrow.

does Jason Kidd make it past December?

Here's a video. Haha at Garnett doing a double take at the end.

Oh! So that's what they do during practices. Because their record clearly shows that they do not practice basketball.

Jason Kidd is humble enough not to take credit for the great coaching move.

    Says it was an accident.

"The cup slipped out of my hand," Kidd told reporters at the game. "I was getting tired. Sweaty palms. I was never good with the ball. So, in the heat of the battle, you’re trying to get guys in and out of the game, and the Coke fell out of my hand."

Guys. Whats the NBA rules regarding huddle invasion? I know Rajon Rondo tried to do it against the Heat a few years back>

I think the Lakers were thinking: Since the Nets can't really admit that this is a huddle, (because you need to have a timeout called before you can have a huddle according to the rules), huddle rules or etiquette do not apply and they can't formally object to us standing wherever the hell we please on the court.

50k isn't enough. And this wasn't a brilliant move. It was classless and cheating. Don't ya think other coaches would have done something like this before if it was "brilliant"?

Jason Kidd is in over his head. I really don't understand what Prokhorov and the Nets front office were thinking in making him head coach. If you're going all in this year with Garnett and Pierce, why in the hell would you risk putting the season in the hands of an inexperienced rookie coach? They could have hired somebody like George Karl or a Van Gundy. And if they really and truly believed that Jason Kidd was their coach of the future, they could have insisted that what ever experienced coach they hire add Kidd to their staff and groom him.

    Colossal blunder.

This is why I wonder what his players and coaching staff think of him. KG and Peirce are coming from a place where this would have never happened. It's funny, but immature. You can't be a leader of men using school-boy tricks.

no more cheating when compared to flopping though, and flopping have a more direct impact on the game (eg, free throws or gaining an extra possession)

None of that really matters. That team is just injured, old, slow, and inefficient. The Nets have bigger problems than Kidd.
