Nice signing for the Hawks. Who know if he will come back from his injury well, but at a minimum salary there's no risk.
Jarret Jack must have some "Broads in Atlanta"' Why would he sign there over other teams? Maybe he doesn't believe in Dennis Schroder & thinks he can cash in next year with 1 good season.
good signing by hawks and hopefully he can still play. I wonder why he didnt cash in earlier on the season when big checks were flying around.
I think so. This is a good signing, and we fans who cheered for Jason Terrythusela last year have no room to talk mess about it. Jack will probably provide more than jet.
Hawks have waived Jack The Hawks waived veteran Jarrett Jack on Thursday. The release of the veteran point guard, who has been unable to practice as he returns from torn right knee ligaments, reduced the training-camp roster to 17 players. Jack suffered the injury last season as a member of the Nets and has been rehabbing during training camp. He missed all seven of the Hawks’ exhibition games this preseason. Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer confirmed this week that Jack would not be ready for the start of the regular season. He has yet to take part in contact portions of practice. Jack said last week that he was close to such workouts. “We are actively progressing,” Jack said of his rehabilitation. “I can tell you me knee feels 100 times better this month than it did last month. Coach and (the staff) are on me about rushing to get back. They tell me to take my time. They’d rather have me for the longer stretch of the season than just this early part. I’m going to take it day by day. Patience isn’t something I was blessed with so I’m going to do my best until the time is right to step back on the court.”
