Hoping Nets explode. There's too much personality issues on that team. It's definitely very possible. Could see them being the Clippers of last year and going out in the 2nd Rd. Maybe even the 1st if they see a hot shooting Heat team.
Im not the type to wish injury to them but with KD playing so many mins just a season from acl and Irving being injury prone lets just say I wont be crying if they collapse due to injury and crash and burn after the deadline or so. Harden already missed a game and that dude is an iron man.
Right so he is 27 now and the trade happened last year whats your point? Harden is 31 now will turn 32 in Aug.
you posted "AD is 26", just gonna assume it was a typo and you meant to type "was" regarding your overall premise here, i just can't agree w/ the owner essentially partially salary dumping james frickin harden
Also, who would have gotten their playing time reduced? We barely have enough minutes to go around as it is now. I promised I wouldn’t provoke the angry mob so I won’t go into it further than this: past leadership failed to take culture into account when making moves and was too caught up in numbers, especially advanced analytics. It’s clear that got us no where and thankfully new management has clearly put a value on it which is why I think they wanted Oladipo, who has tremendous character and gave this team a shot even though it wasn’t his first pick...so far that decision has paid off. So with that said, clearly it was the right decision and thankfully all of the posters spewing their ignorant garbage aren’t running this team as we would have a pissed off Cousins, who is best friends with our new LEADER, as he agreed to sign for the vet minimum because we offered him a chance...9 games into the season, his first one back in YEARS, isn’t a f***** chance people. Everyone has been stupid crap like players don’t want to play for Tillman - now we have John Wall, Cousins and now Oladipo making statements that prove that is false. On the other hand, how many players want to play for a team that break promises that result in them taking less money than they could have made on a sorry team just so they could ride the bench on a team that, according to same said posters, is sorry? We went WAY too far in the way we treated players and culture in the past and I 100% believe we paid for it in terms of having to overpay the players we desperately needed to stay as a result of that mismanagement.
And who’s minutes does he take? Y’all act like this is NBA 2K and there are no ramifications in the locker room from bringing in a guy that can’t shoot and plays one position...the same one that Cousins happens to play, you know the same guy that’s best friends with John Wall and has taken his bench role the best I’ve seen any with his skill still only at the age of 30 take it. He’s been a leader along with Wall - we might not have even made the trade that day had these two not stepped up and told Harden to go f*** himself.
You’re being WAY too logical for this board to accept right now. Only an average of 4.5 teams have been in the tax the past 5 seasons and it’s easy to be in the tax if you’re actually WINNING. We haven’t even made it to the finals... If you can get code to work on here let me know and I'll send you the page I'm looking to extract a table from...if you're able to do it in the next 5 min I'll Venmo you $25. That said, I doubt Subway has any trainings on coding - learning how to make my sandwiches for me is a hard enough skill for you to learn so don't want to overload that brain of yours. OH WAIT, maybe you have learned it during your time at AIU?! Edit: And it has to be done in code because in the next 5 minutes I will have a URL to insert the image...so that's not the point I'm trying to make here.
Also, how's Harden and the Nets managing to keep the worst team in the NBA under 150 points in regulation?! That's next level defense right there. Just wait until that 4 point line is implemented, the Nets are going to be a real problem then man... See that's a joke, similar to all of your posts like posting Allen's statline in a game that Cleveland won by TWO points against sorry ass Minny, who has five wins...oh and one of those was against the Cavs and your new man crush Allen the other night, right after they got smoked by the sorry Knicks the night before that... I mean it's not like we haven't had the best defense in the NBA since the trade...we couldn't be on a SIX game winning streak and undefeated when Wall, Dipo and Wood all have played. No WAY Cheap Tilly would let that happen so I guess we'll see some more awful trades, right?!? Edit: Why don't you post a bunch of Capela's stats too while you're at it. He had a 23/15 game followed by a 27/26 one then after than had a triple double with 10 blocks in the following game. Why aren't you mad that your favorite GM traded him so we could make Harden and his bestie (after butt buddy Lil Baby of course) Russy, who Harden forced this organization into trading for, possibly work playing together?! Also, have you ever considered maybe we don't want to pay for a guy who can't shoot when we have great spacing right now with the two bigs that CAN shoot? Have you seen Tate and Nwaba shoot lately? How would adding Allen be a fit with those guys on the court also with Wall, a below avg shooter if you compared him against the elite PGs 3PT %? What about the chemistry this team has right now? How do you not piss Cousins off bringing in Allen after you signed him for peanuts and promised him a chance to play significant minutes to rebuild his value? What would Wall do if we pissed his true best friend Cousins off? Those are questions you need to think about before just posting stupid **** like that Allen statline in the ROCKETS MESSAGE BOARD.
This is what I was trying to post but couldn't get the code to work beforeI got sucked into respoding to the guy posting an irrelevant statline in an attempt to prove his incorrect opinion was correct. To complete the table: 2 teams paid it in 2017 followed by 4 teams in 2017-18, 5 teams in 2018-19, and 4 teams last year. On average for all of the years, that comes out to FIVE teams every year... Oh and Les was really making it rain with that $5M in total tax he paid all them years...that comes out to the FIFTH FEWEST DOLLARS SPENT in the NBA since the tax was implemented. Unbelievably no one has ever said a damn word about Super Cheap Les and all those stupid decisions based entirely on $$$ he made like signing Jeremy Lin or never committing to doing the correct thing, that even the Lakers and Celtics did (aka tanking), to ensure he could keep raking in them China dollars. Why is it that no one is enraged that is what Les and the management team that HE HIRED that caused us a title? He was the owned that was cheap you morons! Anyone else surprised he that he sold out immediately after getting lucky and hitting on the Harden deal? I'm not. ANYONE would be better so it's hilarious you guys all think we are going to see something worse from Tillman when literally all besides the owners of those trash franchises below us (Bucks and Wizards moved past us in the recent years) in terms of spending. Spoiler GTFO and go root for the Knicks if you want to follow a team that consistently is in the tax. Otherwise, STFU and cheer on this exciting team...just ignore that the owner ran your dog over on the way to his mega yacht launch party using all that fraudulent money he's made from all his hard working people at his restaurants, even on Christmas as he forced them into doing by putting a gun to their head...not because they are making more pay that day and signed up to do it!!!!!!!!!!
LOL can’t even think for yourself...trust me little guy, my W2 and my work experience/reputation proves otherwise.
Jarret allen, typical regular season player. good in transition, good as a lob threat but lost in half court sets . cant dribble, cant pass, cant create, cant shoot. stop being mad that he´s playing for the cavs.
