Quiznos ultimate turkey club or a good peppercorn steak with au jus sauce is pretty damn good. I just moved next to one but $12 for a sandwich is kinda overkill. Still love Hobo's and their fresh sliced meat and fresh baked bread on I 10 east at Normandy. I'll travel for their double meat roast beef, cheddar and black olives.

 

i always liked the idea of a free sub when you punched out the card and the selection of baked chips or sunchips to go with the sub.

 

are people seriously talking about boycotting Subway cause of this perv? Like they had any idea he was beating it to kids.

It's a sad story but just shows how little we know about people we see in the public eye. Just speculating but given that Jared early on had big trouble with his weight if that was a sign of a problem with impulse control that later on got transferred towards child p*rn.

 

I've never liked Quizno's something always just seemed off about their sandwiches especially their meat. It always seemed to have a strange sweet taste to it. Quizno's has disappeared from where I live but there used to be one down the street from me. The main thing I would get from there is the vegetarian.

 

If you have a spokesperson endorsing your whole company you *might* want to do a pretty thorough background check / keep a constant eye on them. Not saying Subway knew what he was doing, but they should have done a better job of monitoring him.

 

 

 

I almost crashed my car on the way home from work yesterday. Listening to the radio and heard someone say that Jared may have been born with a gene that caused the behavior. It was being compared to the alleged gay gene.

Not dismissing these possibilities but couldn't you same for any activity people find immoral? Like infidelity? Stealing? Serial killing?

In general I want to believe these are choices people make.

 

This is going the way of D&D. I don't partake in D&D. I will say that I personally believe that being attracted to the opposite sex or underage kids is a choice people make. This is a personal opinion I will not elaborate on.

 

The guy knew he was doing some extremely illegal things. He's not just going to make it easy for people to discover it. He deliberately hid it. What would you ask subway to do? Raid his house? Have someone stalk him to make sure he stays out of trouble?

As I said earlier I think this might be an issue with impulse control.

As far as whether there is a biological basis for such behavior it is possible but I will point out that there is a key difference between being gay and being a pedophile. One involves consenting adults and the other is the exploitation of children.

 

I don't hold Subway responsible and wouldn't boycott them, unless there is some evidence that someone at Subway knew about this. I haven't seen anything like that.

Unfortunately the whole point about having a pitch person is to associate yourself with that person. Consider that while Jello has dropped Bill Cosby as their spokesperson there are still a lot of jokes and memes around Jello and Bill Cosby which doesn't reflect well on Jello.

 

Quizmos Angus Steak for the win. Don't like JJ's but Firehouse Subs is OK. But my favorite is Pot Belly Wreck.
