Lost in the Lin-sanity, a love affair for the ages between a coach and his player:

He played real good defense and hustled on every play, definitely didn't deserve to get booed. Maybe the crowd was booing because he missed a few gimme layups at the beginning of the game which would've given Lin more assists or something.

Holy crap Jeffries is a kiss-ass. Best coach in the NBA, LOL.

D’Antoni is pretty much right that Jeffries plays hard and is a good teammate. But if I had to watch him on my team as a regular rotation player I’d definitely hate on him like the Knicks Chick. Jeffries belongs as a 12th man.

The Rockets will never have enough lottery picks to acquire a player of Jeffries's caliber.

Not sure if the poster above me is being sarcastic.

Jefferies is a great hustle player - the kind of guy Chuck Hayes is, just not with the amazing defense.

But Jefferies seems to use all the natural tools he was given to play the game. He's a low risk, high reward guy.

When he was on the Rockets, most everybody on the board praised him. Not sure what he did to get booed though.

What are you talking about Jeffries is a great defender. Apparently he could guard like 4 positions and takes a lot of charges. He just cant seem to do anything on offense.

He is a very good defensive player. I used to think that he was Chuck Hayes with a little more offense and size. But then I saw him missing layups left and right in a Rocket uniform, I scratched out that "little more offense" part.

He's a great guy to have on your team. Him Chuck and Shane are great deffensive role players. However, JJ is the worst at finishing. I am he is the worst in the world, not out of those 3

He is not in the same league as Chuck and Shane defensively. He doesn't have great hands or strength like Chuck and he can't lock anyone down like Shane.

He's more like Chandler Parsons without the rebounding and putback dunks. He's really just a long guy with some athleticism that knows he wouldn't be in the league if he didn't play hard every night. He's not worth a roster spot on a mediocre team.

Also, Dantoni knows squat about defense so he probably believes JJ is one of the best defenders in the league or something.

So he thinks Mike D'antoni is the best coach in the league because he gives opportunity to sucky players to play....Jared named like 5 players, which makes up almost half of the Knicks roster..

..yeah, thats why MD is the best coach in the nba...cause he plays players that suck but make up half his roster..jeez
