Reading those texts makes me sick to my stomach. Especially the escort who jumped at the chance to find Jared a minor to bang because "I've got a cousin that's 15".
I doubt it. She's just trying to make a buck. She tells him she has a 15 year old cousin, finds a "co-worker" who looks young and passes it off to him at a marked-up price while taking a cut. Y'all are some rookies.
In his texts he said he would only pay if the girl could prove her age. So unless the escort is going to start doctoring up fake IDs so she could get $300, I'd be more likely to believe Jared just found an escort that was willing to do that to her cousin.
They're doctoring up fake ID's. These people are on drugs half the time and will say anything. It's like making a sale. Get him in a room with his pants down, worry about the details later.
I can buy this theory, but you coming off like a detective who is certain about this case is silly, because you're not a detective (or pimp, or john into underage girls...at least I don't think any of those things), and you're not certain about this case.
I think it's far beyond certain...and to completely dismiss that an escort would be willing to put her 15 year old cousin out there is kind of ignoring the general moral deficiency of that trade... ...but I guess I'll defer to your apparent greater experience with escorts?
The whole point of defining minors is that they aren't old enough to make those kind of decisions for themselves. So it doesn't matter if a 15 year consented to sex for money, that's still pedophilia.
