50 asinine facebook comments? Be tougher to find 50 intelligent ones. Who compiles this crap. And why?

I agree with Robbie on Kudlow's comments. Incredibly poorly and insensitively worded statement to state that the economic impact won't be as bad as might be expected. Other's have made similar comments, though none in such a backasswards way. He wasn't being grateful for the human tragedy.

were his words more or less tasteless than Obama out playing golf rather than maintaining an appropriate level of decorum?

not saying he shouldn't have, just pointing out that idiotic thread is idiotic.

What would be the appropriate level of decorum?

Don't be so stupid as to try to equate what homeslice said with Obama playing golf.

    That's dumb even for you.

The point of your post was to equate somebody being upset over the comments to somebody being upset over Obama playing golf.

That is dumb, basso. They aren't even remotely in the same ballpark.

    there isn't one. my point.

but, you know, if obama had just lowered the oceans like he said he would, this damn tsunami would never have happened.

    one more broken promise.

How this thread titled "Japan" has turned into a left vs right flame ware is beyond me.

Of course I knew it would but it's still a shame. I held out hope that it was truly a thread to voice support and saddness for what has happened.

And 'Pearl Harbor' calls????? At what point do you consider yourself even? After the Firebombs or the two nuke drops?

After watching the news all weekend I found myself thinking about the quakes in Iran and N. Korea and asking myself why no sense of saddness there? John Q Citizen hasn't done diddly squat to me but I had nothing for them at the time because their regimes are lead by D-Bags. Kind of douchey of me I must say.

You completely missed the point. the OP is the wingnut...
Tell me this is not a wingnut assertion.

Okay someone comes out and claims the "fortunately the lost of lives seems to be more dramatic than the market decline"
This person claims to be a conservative, republican, regan supporter, etc etc..

Conclusion and accusation the OP made:
republicans, regan supporters, etc etc are all evil monsters and only care about their portfolio.

What the OP did was pathetic. Bringing his poo flinging politics into a tragedy. Why is the thread title even called Japan? What he posted has nothing to do with Japan. PATHETIC post

LOL @ the wingers in here trying to hijack the thread by making ridiculous comparisons and then saying "you missed my point" when everyone else calls them out on how ridiculous their comparisons are. We have two...can we get a third?

Wow, so we're down to this kind of response now?

Congratualtions, you're effectively now a fatter, balder, less successful Cee Lo Green.

It looks like left and right are united in agreement that those saying this is payback for Pearl Harbor are dumbasses.

I suggest you work on your reading comprehension, buddy. The word 'republican' does not occur anywhere in the OP. He also makes no mention of the general 'Reagan supporter,' but rather mentions that the specific individual who made this comment was a Reagan appointee.
