How this thread titled "Japan" has turned into a left vs right flame ware is beyond me. Of course I knew it would but it's still a shame. I suggest you work on your reading comprehension, buddy. The word 'republican' does not occur anywhere in the OP. He also makes no mention of the general 'Reagan supporter,' but rather mentions that the specific individual who made this comment was a Reagan appointee.
