17 games in 31 days, 4 back-to-backs and the first set of back-to-backs in a stretch of 5 games in 7 nights (2nd till 8th january). I will try to stay positive and hope we turn it around with the December one turning out the way most of us thought it would (8-5 right now, 9-5 still possible : ) We will probably struggle for a few more games though, so I'd say 11-6 and a move in the right direction!! Rockets won't lose to New Orleans next game and they won't lose to Golden State again this year. I got faith in that.

I think we can pull out a win against the Warriors. Neither game has necessarily been a blowout. Rockets had a chance in each game IMO. I also think we can beat the Thunder, but I will leave it as a loss considering the way we are playing right now.

We have to restore our defensive identity, and fight for every possession. Defense and rebounding, will keep us alive in every game. We have to reduce our over reliance on the 3 ball, by moving it around and taking better shots. Our FT percentage really needs to improve as well. My wish is to see consistency, and team growth. I will be very happy to see Jones back on the court. Let's hope for the best. Go Houston Rockets!
If they play well, 12-5 is doable. A lot more games than December, and many of them on the road. But it's also filled with Eastern Conference opponents.

From talent standpoint, I think 13-4. But the schedule is quite road heavy and 17 games in 30 days is a pretty rough. So I'll go with 11-6. That would put us at 33-15 which I think would be quite good with the trade deadline bringing in reinforcements.
I hope McHale keeps the guys fresh. He can give spot minutes to guys like Canaan, Papa and Nick Johnson. Hopefully Josh Smith's defense gets stronger and he gets coaching on his shot. Can't wait to see TJones by the end of Jan.
