It's not a matter of being scared. I just increasingly saw the weaknesses in Brooks' game as time went on. I think Parker is the best role model/comparison in the league for Brooks because like Brooks, he is a speedy score-first PG that lacks great playmaking ability. No, I watched a bunch of games but didn't catch any of Memphis. What happened? Nash is such a freakin' deadly shooter. Watching the Suns game now.
He's a gangly-lookin' mug. Not a sturdy build/base. More of a Stromile body type. I've seen him go down with injuries multiple times.
Nice drive and kick by Alston there. He almost lost that skill by playing in a stagnant Houston offense for so many years.
Just want to say that Beno Udrih looks like a basketball player this season. He's finally earning that paycheck.
I've always said that if you're not a run and gun uptempo type of team, rafer will look piss poor, but if you have finishers around him and guys that an score, he's a good pg. He's a natural pg that through the ineptitude of the rockets surrounding cast and a geico type offense, he wasn't effefctive.
The year the spurs traded him and the other team just let ghim loose he played well. He's a solid guy that is crafty and can shoot. He will always struggles with quicker guys, but he's effective.
Martell Webster has been stepping up recently. People keep talking about the Blazers horrible luck with all the injuries but if there is any team in the league that can remain competitive with that many players going down, it's the Blazers. They have depth at every single position except maybe power forward.
Roy so far tonight for sure. Overall, it's no contest but Roy has a long career ahead of him to prove where he stands relative to the greats.
Without Gasol, the lakers are not a good team at all. Kobe is a great player, but he is also a very lucky player to play with Shaq and Gasol.
Kobe saw that play coming and pointed for one of his bigs to be ready to slide over. Too late. Roy seals it.
