James vs. Giannis - Who should, and who will.. win the MVP?

Haven't watched much of the series on streaming devices but from the box score, Allstar caliber players like Bledsoe and Middleton had a weak series.

Bledsoe was averaging little above 10 ppg and Middleton 12 or 13 ppg.

From a non-fan perspective, Harden's greatest mistake is staying with a team that doesn't spend $130m every year and surround him with superstars. That's what Lebron, Durant and Curry get. Toronto have made Kawhi the king of a city, they brought his friend over with him and they are paying almost $140m this season. They took on Gasol's contract when they were already contending for #1 seed. For a marginal improvement from Valanciunas to Gasol.

Yet Harden stays despite these idiots behaving as though 90% of our problems come from less than 1% of Harden's plays.

I honestly never saw it this way myself, but Harden is a huge Rockets fan. In this day and age where money and artificially constructed legacy is everything, Harden bucks that trend. He wants the title here and as a true fan I can appreciate the purity of that journey.

This man deserves more from this organization. The organization needs to do more. The owner needs to do more. The GM needs to do more. The coaches need to do more. Everyone but Tucker and Harden did not do enough over the course of the season and the playoffs. Gordon can get a minor pass for at least showing up to the playoffs. These are all reasonable requests.

To sit here and act like our fate depends on Harden addressing his one flaw is stupid. You don't need a flawless player to win a title.

Think of all the mountains of production that Capela, Shumpert, House, Paul could have brought. Think of the all the "doesn't move the needle" players we could have acquired. Think of all the energy we could have saved Harden by not cheaping out by signing Melo, Ennis and MCW. Think of how much help Faried could gives us if he could go 5 minutes without giving up 2 easy baskets.

Jaymichal Green and Garett Temple were acquired for nothing but Avery Bradley's mostly-expiring contract. If we couldn't top that offer, is it our fault or did the Grizzlies screw us?

At this exact juncture of Lebron and Durant's careers, they left their teams to join other superstars. Today the Harden haters are asking us why Harden is not like them. It's ridiculous.

 

Yeah it's crazy right, it's not like Harden and Tucker were the only ones who brought it for 99% of the regular season and playoffs.

Love Harden but he should ask for a trade so he can form his own superteam in a city that would appreciate him.
The best guard our city has ever had and the best SG in the league by far, who gets more than enough slander outside the city, can't even be appreciated by his own city.

We're so jealous of what other teams have that we can't appreciate the one guy who turned himself from a 6th man to an MVP and a bonafide top 5 player in the league.

Harden's biggest fault is constantly overachieving to where we're all disappointed when he can't get to the finish line. He could've shut it down when we went 11-14 like the board wanted and no one would've blamed him, but he put on an all time performance to get another shot at the warriors and all he gets is slander. SMFH

and out in the first round . . . . .. . . . . .. . .than one that make it to the WCFs and lose
