its the intangibles he brought once sura got into a game it seems like the whole attitude of the rockets unit on the floor would change... I too doubted sura at first but once i saw him on the court my opinion of him changed

Did you just become a Rockets fan or something?

Sura brought a lot of hustle and toughness to the team.

Suras lack of athleticism is part of the reason we got beasted by the Mavericks last year....Jason Terry freaking abused him all series long...

Im a life long Rockets fan...plenty of rockets before Sura husteled and brought passion....from Franchise, to Mobley...for God sakes even John Lucas III hustled and gave passion when he got a chance..

    Sura just wasnt talented enough...he never impressed me....wasnt a good passer...wasnt a good shooter....good rebounder.....ok defense...thats it...

you do know that sura was playing injured during the playoffs right?

are you saying franchise and mobley plays with more heart and brain than sura?

and don't even compare JLIII to sura.. they're in different leagues.. one is a pro and one is in dev..

again did you see the regular season run that the rox went through last year?

Totally agree - Sura is/was great. He chased down every loose ball and played with intesity. He made the right pass and did not think shoot first (ie Stevie Franchise). I think the lack of Sura on the court last season (and hurt in the playoffs) hurt the Rockets big time.

Here's hoping he pulls off a miracle.

Personally I think Terry abuses even an injury free Sura 2 years ago. But newsflash, Jason Terry is a VERY difficult guy to guard. Terry burned anyone he faced this playoffs 1 on 1 with the exception of Wade and Raja Bell, fantastic individual defenders. The list Terry made look halpess included every other player the Heat or Spurs through at him (including Gary Payton, yes he is old, but he is still a 6'4" player known to be one of the better and smartest defensive guards).

If Sura can come back that would be a huge plus. He is a very good rebounding combo guard, has a great team ethic, good court vision, and is solid in most respects (Ok but not great defender, OK shooter). For the Jason Terry's of the world we will have better options like James (hopefully), Head, or even size and quickness in Tmac or Battier.

If Sura is anything like the form of 2 years ago I'd love to see Yao, Battier, Tmac, Sura and James on the court at the same time.

Sura is a big ?. If he is healthy next season, I am not sure he will be as good as he is.

Bad knee, bad back, food posioning (was on an IV and could not eat solid foods).................

yeah Terry abused him at that point, and Sura abused Terry in games 1-3 in case you forgot (with the bad knee and back but not the food posioning).
